Belmont MT, I’ve loved you “all the way.”

Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel after completing our run of My Way: A Musical Tribute. Thank you so much to everyone who worked tirelessly to develop this magical show. Our wonderful director @bvlaxton and music director @natestrasser used their brilliance and expertise to cultivate a cast that felt more like a family than anything else. My closest friends and mentors @mely.berdion and @xanman908 choreographed beautiful stories that made us all feel effortlessly confident. This production was an experience I will cherish forever. And that’s a wrap on THE BEAUTIFUL GAME! ⚽️❤️

What a gift it was to step into the shoes of Bernadette and tell this beautiful, heartbreaking, and hopeful story with The Beautiful City Project at the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture.

I’m so grateful to @fiorellostudios and everyone at @thebeautifulcityproject for welcoming me into this incredible community and trusting me with the opportunity to be a part of this production. Getting to share the stage with such a talented, generous group of artists made this experience one I’ll hold onto for a long time.

One of the things I love most about TBCP is that the work onstage means something beyond the performance itself. Knowing that we were able to come together, donate our time and talents, and use this show to support the Athenaeum Center and its community made every moment even more meaningful.

To our creative team, cast, crew, musicians, and everyone who came out to support us—thank you for making this experience so special.

I feel incredibly lucky to have made my TBCP debut with this show, this character, and these people.

Let us all love in peace. ☘️🇮🇪⚽️🎶🤍

“I was put here to make something beautiful before I go.”

Well, I can say with complete confidence that something beautiful has certainly been made of my time at Belmont University. However, I would be lying if I said these past three years were easy or always full of joy and direction.

But that’s the whole point of college, isn’t it? Out of the hundreds of universities across the world that we have the honor and privilege to choose from, we pick the one that we believe to be the best fit. Whether it be for location, academics, opportunities, people, you name it—when we choose our school, we trust that by the end of our time we will become fully-developed and educated young adults, ready and able to take on any challenges that the “real world” throws our way.

Coming into freshman year, I saw Belmont as a place to heal. I understood that in order to imagine the possibilities of what I could be, I’d first have to accept all that I was. Belmont’s incredible support through community and opportunity has helped me surpass this goal by leaps and bounds. Not only do I have a deep love and appreciation for the person God has forged me into, but I have also begun to embrace the person He now calls me to become.

I never knew joy and sorrow could coexist until He revealed my next major step forward. I’m filled with pure excitement for the journey that lies ahead at Northwestern, yet I grieve the loss of a beautiful senior year at Belmont surrounded by some of my dearest friends. Nevertheless, the only constant in life is change, and it often comes before we feel ready to move on.

But just because we don’t feel ready for the next step doesn’t mean that we aren’t ready. It just means that we want more time to adore what we possess in the present moment, and that is something truly beautiful. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @dee.pace.official
