For Dhruvi and Ayush, the city held years of memories, from the start of their journey together to a long-distance relationship spanning Chicago and Charlotte. So when Ayush planned the proposal, there was only one place it could happen.

A whole day of surprises led Dhruvi to the water and skyline of their favourite city, where he got down on one knee, with one more surprise waiting. Their parents had flown in from India, and later, friends from across the US joined them for a surprise after-proposal party.
