I wasnt going to post this video . I am not an over thinker but 🙈🙈🙈

Story time…

My client had asked me to sing at her 50th Thanksgiving service in Madeira. I had prepared everything, including my backing track, and sent it over to the DJ beforehand.

But that morning was absolute madness.

I’d been working since 4am (awake from 2:30am), getting everyone ready, and by the time I walked into the church, my name was called almost immediately. There wasn’t even enough time for a sound check.

To make matters even more interesting, we couldn’t get the backing track to play. The DJ didn’t want to risk disrupting my slot which, in fairness, I completely understood. Thank you! 🙏🏾

So… I opened my mouth and sang 15 minutes completely a cappella.

No music.
No backing vocals.
No rehearsal.
Just me… and God.

Looking back, I honestly don’t know how I found the strength. I hadn’t sat down once all morning, yet somehow God carried me through in a way only He can.

The lesson? Preparation is important, but there are moments when all you have left is your faith. Sometimes God allows your plan to fall away so His strength can be seen more clearly. Don’t let imperfect circumstances stop you from showing up. Your willingness can make room for God’s ability.

Every year I tell myself I am going to have a stand at a Pop up but I always chickened out for various reasons.
