Madame Leota does NOLA 🔮 When we planned the trip I knew I wanted to make a costume that related to this mystical and magical city. It was my most complex creation by far with the added challenge of making it so I could break it down to be packed. Despite my globe cracking on the plane ride, I’m so happy with how it turned out. People really enjoyed it, hearing “OMG it’s Madame Leota!” all night made the time and money I spent worth it. It took a small village to construct, huge thanks to @fabian_g_80 and @angiecakesdesigns for your help! Happy Halloween everyone 🎃 #madameleota #neworleans #bourbonstreet #nola #disneycosplay #hauntedmansion #fortuneteller #tarot #mystical #diycostume #diy #halloweencostume #halloween by @deedee.cupcake

Had so much fun hosting the annual Trunk or Treat at the Riverside Animal Shelter yesterday! Thank you @anna.june.official @rattlinbonesdecor for having me! It was a wonderful event and I loved meeting all the adoptable doggies 🖤 #spookyseason #adoptdontshop #adoptabledogs #volunteering #giveback taken in Riverside County Animal Services by @deedee.cupcake

I’m making a rare appearance in the IE this Friday and so honored to be back at Riverside Animal Shelter volunteering for this great cause! I’ll be emceeing their annual Trunk or Treat and doing a magic show 🪄 They’re waiving all adoption fees and including a free microchip, vaccines, and spay and neuter! At the April event we got 76 animals out of the shelter and into foster or forever homes 🙌🏽 Free trick or treating, cotton candy and more! All ages welcome and it’s completely free! I hear they might have a piñata 🪅 See you there! #riversideanimalshelter #trunkortreat #adoptdontshop #adoptionevent #freethingstodo taken in Riverside County Animal Services by @deedee.cupcake

When I realized my ten year emcee anniversary was approaching, I wanted to celebrate by producing a show with a cast of performers that had all been part of my journey and have my incredible mentor co-host it with me. Every one of them immediately said yes. I put my whole heart and soul into this show - the night was even more magical than I could have imagined, and the audience was one of the best, most loving crowds I’ve ever performed for. Thank you everyone that came out to celebrate this milestone with me. I will never have the words to truly express how special getting to host a show with the woman who taught me how to be a host was. It was an absolutely perfect evening and I’m still trying to process it all. If you were there, I hope you were inspired by the amazing art in that room. To my brilliant cast, people were raving about how great the show was and all I could say was “Yes, I’m so lucky to have such talented friends.” Go take the risk, follow your dreams, and be kind to people along the way. What a blessing the last decade has been. See you for my 20th 🖤✨🎙️ Photos by @eugeneshoots #deedeecupcake #burlesque #lilivonschtupp #art # by @deedee.cupcake

Learning a new skill that’s also a male dominated industry at a time when some people think a woman’s life should be over or has less value has been amazing, 10/10 would recommend. 🎥 @camera.dan_ #magic #femalemagician #deedeecupcake #magician #entertainment by @deedee.cupcake

I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for A DECADE! Thank you everyone that’s booked me, come to my shows, laughed at my jokes and most importantly believed in me. This milestone also belongs to the Suzie to my Midge, my incredible mentor @boobdini. And if you’re still reading this: take the risk. Sign up for the class. Pitch the script. Be brave. Go out there and get it.✨ I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone tonight! #decade #deedeecupcake #milestone #followyourdreams #taketherisk by @deedee.cupcake
