The verdict is in! 🍹🏆

After putting my taste buds to work, here's the official ranking:

🥉 4th Place – Grapefruit
Nice little kick, but the rum was way too shy. It tasted more like Ting and rum than an actual grapefruit blend.

🥉 3rd Place – Ginger Beer
Quick, smooth, and satisfyingly fizzy. A solid drink, but it lacked that rum buzz. If I'm drinking, I'm looking for vibes.

🥈 2nd Place – Mojito
I can tell they spent some serious time in the lab with this one. The mint was minting, the lime was liming, and the rum and soda danced together like they'd been rehearsing for months. It was painfully close to first place.

🥇 1st Place – Tropical Fusion 👑
This one is a creeper. Smooth enough to fool you, tasty enough to keep you reaching for another, and before you know it, you're four or five cans deep, telling stories nobody asked for and confessing secrets you swore would go to the grave. 😂

Or maybe that's just me and my lightweight self. 🤣🍍🥭🍹

POV: You finally live the dream your younger self quietly held onto.

Ever since reading The Da Vinci Code, I'd dreamed of seeing Washington, D.C.—the monuments, the history, and the Smithsonian museums. This trip felt like walking through the pages of a book that sparked my curiosity years ago.

What made it even more special was the timing. As someone whose first degree is in History, visiting during America's 250th anniversary celebrations felt like everything had come full circle. It wasn't just a visit—it felt like standing at the intersection of the stories I studied, the books that fueled my imagination, and a dream that had quietly lived on my vision board for years.

I'm leaving with a full heart and an even deeper gratitude for God. He has an incredible way of placing me in rooms, cities, and opportunities I never could have orchestrated myself. Sometimes it feels like He's holding the original copy of every vision board I've ever made—even the dreams I've forgotten I'd written down. One by one, He keeps checking the boxes.

Still smiling. Still geeking out. Still incredibly grateful. Here's to answered prayers, divine timing, and never outgrowing the dreams of your younger self. 🇺🇸📚❤️✨ taken in Washington DC, USA by @deedeeboop
