Heartbreaker, my hummingbird vine/strawberry plate breaking because of surface tension from glaze on the top and not the bottom. I was so upset but it’s part of learning this craft so yay I guess lol by @deejaybosca

Two years sober today, sometimes when I tell people I’m sober they reasonably assume I struggled with a big drinking problem- it really wasn’t like that for me but I felt like I could never quite understand parts of myself or my choices or actions. I was struggling at times and thought drinking was fun, obviously it always was but the spark was over pretty quick. Two years sober and I feel still like me, learned how to dance salsa without needing a shot for courage, learned ceramics, learned about me and my friends and family, traveled, still highs and lows just a lot less lows and I just feel proud I said I’d do it and stuck with it. Happy for anyone who has gotten sober or wants to, hope you’ve enjoyed this little yay me post lol by @deejaybosca

Finally!! My first shop drop on my website: DeejayBosca.com!! A lot of this work is inspired by my printmaking background- I feel I am tapping into something that is as technically beautiful as it is fun.
