A World Cup Quarterfinal ago, @rstangent & I unleashed our b2b high-jinks at Freerotation. According to Robin, the recording has a sonic fidelity of a Jah Shaka mix tape; methinks it’s at least as clear as a first-gen Shaka tape. Which is a perfect way to represent how swampy & unhinged Room 3 was and always will be.

Did our DJ set help England win the World Cup? Almost.
(“Eat my Goal!” -A. Partridge)

Will our DJ set help @countbinface win the Clacton by-election? One can hope.

PS: Happy birthday week to our friend Lindsey, who you can probably hear in the recording if you listen really, really closely.
PPS: Happy eclipse eve 🌒

To Claire, Daz, Jimmy, Joe, “May,” “Miguel ‘4 Scoops’,” and T: it was a such a crack(pot) to be part of your @pickleballrota filthy pickleball family this week 🫶

All of you made it enjoyable to navigate a series of pickleball existential crises, humility in defeat, and success without needing to hit the piss out of the ball.

Here are the only pics I can post from our time together that won’t trigger a shadow ban from Mεta’s anti-smut overlords.

My heart is full returning to @horstartsandmusic after my first time in 2018, and I’m blown away how it’s grown so spectacularly. It may have been a little chilly, but the atmosphere surrounding both my solo & b2b sets was the ultimate comfort blanket.

The joy was even more unhinged with my doubles partner @questionmarq72 and many of you showed us the receipts. I’d dearly love us to play more festival shows together, so send any requests & recommendations if you’ve got ‘em 🙏

Thank you to @00simon.nowak00 @alixgoris Daphne, Anaïs, and the sound engineers for getting me on stage. Big love to @eyedmusic for attending the Belgium #MW-Raves meetup ❤️

🤞the full video of my set from the HoRAbaixa stage be online soon @kiosk.radio …

Being asked to do an RA mix (#610) changed my silly DJ hobby from making friends laugh and/or cry to touring the world.

The @resident_advisor RA.1000 archive has re-curated the mixes into editorial playlists, and I’m chuffed that mine appears on “Mixes That Rewired Our Brains.” Tip of hat to @gabrielszatan and @sl___rp for amplifying my oeuvre!

I still enjoy rewiring brains on the dancefloor, albeit b2b to double the fun with a suitable accomplice (see previous outings with @rstangent @etienne4u_dj @nikki__nair @questionyourdj).

DM me for 2026 b2b bookings & help make next year sillier than 2025 🤡

We’re going b2b tonight at a swampy free party (with a festival-sized lineup) in Cheltenham to raise money for @cheltopendoor who provides support to vulnerable, disadvantaged and lonely people through a variety of services.

Swipe for set times (I can’t wait to finally see @theorblive). Donation link in bio! by @deejaybrs

One of my favourite aspects of DJing is realising in the moment how much fun I’m having + performing in full flow to produce a barnburner of a set. That happened last weekend in Globus @tresorberlin with fellow genre traveller @questionyourdj

Like my best pickleball partners, she played on the left with boldness and knew when to take the next shot. She even played samples of a pickleball match while we healed/assaulted the crowd/ourselves [delete as appropriate] with the ha. The Globus soundsystem was yummy, especially hearing acid lines wriggling slowly out of those monitors…

We can’t wait to share the set recording with you soon! taken in Tresor Berlin by @deejaybrs

I’m back to make good trouble this Saturday at @tresorberlin with a 5👏Hour👏 🐝2️⃣🐝 with @questionyourdj in Globus 😃

Seriously, pinch me and goodness knows why it took so long to pluck up the courage to ask her to b2b with me. With fellow Midwest expat @olin.music joining us upstairs, we’re getting all our musical crayons out for this one + think I found an another way to make Mozart spin in his grave.

Playing upstairs almost-all-night is the only reason I’m not planted downstairs for a banging evening with @tony_surgeon @keepsakesish @toniba__ @i.am.sept

I often play Keepsakes tracks in my sets & wore out my car speakers playing his 5hr all-vinyl set on forever-peat, but I’ve yet to see him play IRL. Good to know that probably won’t change on Saturday 😂😭 taken in Tresor Berlin by @deejaybrs
