POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On October 7th, 2025, I witnessed a life changing opening DJ set by Sango. Three days later, I downloaded DJ Pro and started DJ’ing. Fast forward to a year later and it’s the best decision I could have ever made in my entire life. While I didn’t get as many bookings as I wanted to this past year, the amazing community of DJs, producers and music enthusiasts I’ve built and connected with is something that I’ll never take for granted. From doing an opening set for a Sierra Leonean Independence Day party to conquering my fear of performing in public and signing up for open decks, I’ve honestly grown so much as a person. To my community: Every like, comment, repost and mentioning my name in rooms I’m not even in means so much to me and I’ll forever sing praises to my friends, family, mutuals (and even strangers!) for allowing me to realize my potential. My love for music is incredibly deep, and I’m so happy I’ve found a hobby that gives me the absolute HONOR to share the love I have for this sacred art form with others. Thank you all for your support and we go again for year 2!💖💕🫶🏾🫂 #deejaychay #beginnerdj #djanniversary #ilovethislife by @deejaychay
