𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐯𝐲 008 — 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐚

Next up on our TFPG series is the big & bad Mosca! Peak excitement levels for this 4hr session recorded on a Sunday morning last July at Nowadays during our GG10 nonstop takeover. The opening words on the mix about being in the moment sets a solid vibe for the sonic rollercoaster ride Mosca took us on. Dancehall, grime, dub, techno, garage, house, reggaeton, batida & more, all INSIDE. Real sound boy bizness for your head top.

Words from Mosca:

“I’m not much of a gushy person but listen - I genuinely appreciate what Groovy Groovy stands for. I meet so many promoters and believe me not all raves are the same, when I first met Akanbi back in the day I knew he was a music music guy, and the party attracts music music people. 10 years is no joke! Had a wicked time running tunes, diving deeeeep into UK sounds, getting to grips with a modular dub siren(!), being a dick on the mic, respecting local licensing laws and meeting a load of ravers afterwards. Thanks again for the warm welcome and above all else the €10,000 DJ fee”

I’ve been dealing with my own DJ bookings for years and I love the bullshit-free experience of dealing with promoters directly, but I’ve never been much of an admin guy. I think I’m ready to go back to the dark side ;) If you’re familiar with my sound and think u or someone u know might be a good fit, get in touch at bookmosca@gmail.com… and by good fit I mean NICE! RESPECTFUL! STRAIGHTFORWARD! NOT PUTTING SHIT ON MY RIDER I DIDN'T ASK FOR! I love gigging and still feel grateful for the bookings after all these years - I don’t ask for pisstake fees, haven’t stayed in a hotel for years, happy to crash anywhere, will buy myself a kebab, no drugs on the rider etc etc. Trust me when I say it’s always been about the music 🖤 if you’re a promoter I’ve met, or a raver, security, bar staff or even an agent with a full roster, feel free to spread the word. Oh and I know I’m not supposed to advertise like this, and act like I get ten offers a day, but tbh I don’t play those games, it is what it is 🧘‍♂️ by @deejaymosca

Just an example of how tweaky some of these loops are in X-Ray Pack Vol.1 - tonnes of recording, resampling and chopping - put a lot of love into this one :) check it out if u like to add a little dubby spice to your productions - link in bio or rent.bandcamp.com/album/x-ray-pack-vol-1 by @deejaymosca
