Meet DEEJ, one of the artists AND musicians joining us for Emerge this October.

DEEJ is an Australian multidisciplinary artist from the Philippines, raised in Western Sydney. As a music producer, he experiments with ambient and electronic soundscapes using guitar and percussion.

He also co-hosts Inner Vision sessions with Luka Green, an ongoing live ambient music and community art-making event in Sydney.

At Emerge, DEEJ will be sharing both his visual art and music with us, which feels pretty bloody fitting for an exhibition bringing so many different forms of creativity under one roof.

Saturday 17 October 2026
3pm to 8pm
Nin Yoga Penrith
Shop 1A, 51 York Road, Jamisontown

We’ll have 23 visual artists, 4 musicians, 3 poets and 2 dancers sharing their work throughout the afternoon and evening.

Tickets include all performances, nibbles and bottomless herbal tea, with wine available for a small donation.

100% of artwork sales go directly to the artists.

Early bird tickets are $27 for the first 100 sold, then $37.

Inner Vision v5 - Ticket link in bio 🙏🌀☯️🙏

One year ago we started an experiment to bring live music and art into a shared space, where improvised sound and spontaneous art making could interact and inspire each other in real time. One year ahead and we're so stoked to be able to continue growing & tapping into that potential in Sydney.

To celebrate a year of growth and local art we're holding the next edition at Western Sydney's creative heart Common House - and collaborating with our friends at Potluck Ari.

#5 will feature a new and returning lineup of local live visual artists, installation, live ambient music, tea & cacao. Come experiment & find your flow state with us in a shared creative space, no judgement no pressure, just creative presence *we bring basic mediums, but feel free to BYO creative tools*

The series continues to thrive thanks to your support.. your participation is what really makes these events what they are. As always, we are always on the lookout for collaborators, volunteers, & space holders. If you align let's connect

WHEN: Aug 29 6:30-11pm

Throwback to last year when I bought my first midi controllers.. After a decade away from the music scene, I came at it making sounds I wanted to hear for myself for the heck of it, not thinking about the outcome, or genres, or playing live, or releasing anything. But just cos it felt insanely fulfilling to create something myself
Fast forward a year & I'm feeling mad blessed to be in a position where I can share that love in a meaningful way. Thanks to @inner.vision__ and @lukagreeen_ for helping to bring that out of me and providing a space to do that

I'm grateful for all those I've met along the way on this crazy journey, and keen to collaborate 🤙 If you align hit me up by @deejreams
