🚬 A Brief History of Smoking Cigarettes 🚬

Bruce McCulloch of Kids in the Hall says, “The clever mix of video, music, and puppets takes this important show over the top.” ✨

From first drags behind dumpsters to last smokes outside hospital doors, this darkly funny and razor-sharp solo show follows one person’s lifelong entanglement with nicotine, memory, and self-destruction.

Teenage rebellion to existential crisis, this gripping performance drags you through the rituals we cling to when nothing else sticks. 💥

A proud moment nose flare. 👃

It was so cool to be nominated with @robfeetham for Best Ensemble in the Theatre for Young Audiences Division at the 2026 Dora Mavor Moore Awards - alongside so many wonderful shows. (Huge congrats to @santeesmith and the ensemble of The Mush Hole for winning!)

Sadly, I didn’t get a pic with Rob last night - but buddy, I love ensemble-ing with you.

💫Big thanks to @dleesa and everyone at @theatredirect for the opportunity of a lifetime. To be a part of The Childhood Project with @ungaklara in Guardians of the Gods written by the incomparable Erik Uddenberg has been a profound and utterly joyful experience. The other 20 actors - from 10 different countries - that Rob and I got to work with and learn from are so much a part of our ensemble. ❤️(This sweet two-hander is happening all over the world!) And of course - big ups to our cap-wearing captain and genius director @gdeinoff - and to all of the sweetest designers and collaborators of this project - wowza!

I feel truly honoured (nose flare proud) to be a part of something so huge and groundbreaking - and for it to be recognized with these nominations. (Best ensemble and best production - TYA division)

Congrats to all and holy crap - @yesamaka you were the most brilliant host. 💫

Thanks for a fun celebration @tapa_to by @deelude
