So many of you asked me how I taught Luna to ride on a motorcycle.
Well, I have to be honest that in her case it was pretty easy.
From the start I could see that she was enjoying each trip in the car — she’d put her head out of the car window.
At first I took her to the motorcycle and started the engine to see if she would be scared, but she just stared at me like she was bored 🤣
When I sat on the motorcycle, she jumped straight up after me.
Then I ordered a special dog bag for the motorcycle with a special zip system so she’d be safe.
The first “jump” into the bag went amazingly, with an extra dose of dog treats, of course.
After that we did our first short ride with my friend, just to be sure she wasn’t scared.
The funniest thing was that she kept pulling her head up higher and higher from my back to enjoy the wind more 🤣
Now I can say she loves it — every time she sees me putting on my motorcycle gear, she just jumps and barks to come with me.
For everyone worried about her eyes and ears: she has a double band to protect her ears, and she has goggles (though I’m still trying to find a pair she’ll fully accept, because I think she likes the wind too much 🤣).
She is just amazing dog.
One of the best decisions that I made in my life was to adopt her from shelter !

I did it!

Today I rode my first real kilometers in my new DEEMEED Hybrid PET Bag XL, mounted on the tank of our BMW R1300GS Adventure.

Our next adventure!
I took Luna to see the beautiful Polish mountains called Pieniny.
This is one of my favorite places in Poland to visit.
I have my fav spots there and, of course, my place to eat Polish dumplings with mountain cheese. 🤣
For everyone wondering if Luna has goggles — yes, of course, but I think I’ll “build” a smaller one for her.

Our next trip with this adventurous doggo will be to Austria or Italy. So if you have any recommendations for dog-friendly campsites with mountain views, I’d really appreciate it.
