It has been a week and a half of celebration blessings, celebrating my birthday, celebrating my 28th wedding anniversary with my beloved husband “The Moorestar” @rogermooreuk Roger Moore, celebrating with my Uncle and Aunt for their diamond wedding anniversary and celebrating my youngest son’s 22nd birthday. When you live with a chronic illness you are reminded all the more clearly that tomorrow isn’t promised and I’m immensely blessed to live to see all of these beautiful milestones. Thank you to everyone for your birthday messages, Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support, love Dee, kisses ❤️ #love #celebration #grateful by @deemooresings

🎈 Today is my birthday… and I’m spending part of it at dialysis.

Kidney failure doesn’t care that it’s my birthday.

It doesn’t care if it’s hot, cold, windy, raining or snowing. It doesn’t care if I’m tired, unwell or would rather be somewhere else.

I have to be here because my life depends on it.

So, on my birthday, I want to ask you to give yourself one of the best presents you can: take care of your kidneys. 💚

Kidney disease can often progress without obvious symptoms, so don’t wait until something feels wrong to start thinking about your kidney health.

👉🏽👉 Follow @diaryofakidneywarrior for more kidney disease awareness, prevention and education.

And please share this video. It might be the reminder someone needs to start taking their kidney health seriously.

30 years ago today I walked up these very stairs and when I reached the top I was introduced to my husband @rogermooreuk by @leobaxter45. Today we stand in the spot we met as teenagers, almost 28 years of marriage and 2 children. Are we perfect? No!!!!!! But we are perfect for each other ❤️ I love you Roger ❤️ by @deemooresings

Then vs Now.

This wasn’t about aesthetics.
It was about transplant eligibility.

🎙️New episode Monday.

I look at these photos taken around the same time of year but years apart and I celebrate just how far my Bestie @x_gemgem_x and I have come together in our health journeys. We took different paths but with the same goal, to do all we can for our health. Having someone to walk with you during this journey is priceless and I am so blessed to have my Bestie who has celebrated with me with every high and was a shoulder to cry on through every low! I love you ❤️

You may feel the disappointment of God’s “no,”
but He already sees the joy that’s waiting on the other side of your obedience.

He exists outside of time — He’s already standing in your breakthrough.

On Sunday my husband Roger @rogermooreuk and I celebrated the anniversary of the day we met 29 years ago! Back then we were just teenagers but we were serious about our future together. We have come a long way and I am grateful and blessed to be married to my first love 007 ❤️ #marriedlife #blacklovematters by @deemooresings

I say this in love & no malice in my heart:
I hate voice notes!
If it’s too long to text, call me?
If it’s short & you don’t want to talk, text me?

Respectfully, Dee
