POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
January 2026: Highs and Lows of My New Year’s Resolutions. It took a lot of dedication, surrender, patience, strength, and courage. Here’s what I’ve learned/what I’ve been doing:

1. I used to struggle with procrastination so much that I would get anxious just thinking about it. I would wait until the last second to get things done, or I would do the opposite and prepare months/weeks in advance for one thing while neglecting everything else. Procrastination was a real struggle that affected me physically and spiritually. It brought on mental health issues, and I truly believe the enemy had a stronghold over my life in that area. I dealt with fear and accusations when it came to procrastination. This month, I really focused on getting everything done immediately so that it wasn’t heavy on me, and wow, joy, peace, and a sound mind have really impacted me. I love this newfound freedom from procrastination.
2. I had a surreal addiction to TikTok and social media in general. I’ve been really watching what I’m doing/watching/listening to. I deleted TikTok, too.
3. Waking up early has been huge for me. I’m no longer struggling to get to places on time because I’ve found I have more energy in the morning with proper rest and a routine.
4. Duolingo—this year, I’m studying French, waking up straight to an activity instead of doomscrolling.
5. Studying the word of God each morning. I try to read or listen to a chapter of Psalms and, in the New Testament, starting with Matthew. I really want to be intentional about reading the New Testament this year. by @deenahrae

Here are some verses to remind others and yourself after the election and with all the chaos in this world.

1. Peace with Others:
 - Romans 12:18: “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”

2. Equally Yoked Relationships:
 - 2 Corinthians 6:14: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

3. Few Walk in Righteousness:
 - Matthew 7:14: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

4. Time of Grief and Loss:
 - Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

A prayer to pray out loud -

Dear Father God, Lord, we thank You for the mercy You’ve had upon us,
For the freedom to study Your word, to serve You, and to share our faith thus.
For the freedom to go to church and have community with others,
God, we thank You for blessing our nation, our home, like no other.

Lord, we thank You for policies that align with Your word,
For wars that will end, and peace that will be heard.
For the blessings You’ve bestowed upon us from Your throne,
You are merciful, righteous, and in love, we are never alone.

Bless those who curse us, bless those who hate,
Bless those who wish to destroy us, for love conquers hate.
We ask for Your comfort for those who haven’t loved us,
May Your love overcome and guide us.

Help us walk away from heated conversations,
And lean on Your understanding, not our own foundations.
Father, we repent for strife and debate,
Teach us to walk in righteousness, and peace with all, great and small.

Teach us to form equally yoked relationships, and better one another,
In Jesus Almighty name, we submit to You, our Father.
We love You with all our mind, soul, and spirit,
In the name of the Lord Yeshua Hamashiach, we say, Amen. by @deenahrae

What Does Love look like as a Christian?

1 Corinthians 13:4-7:

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”

In this context, “charity” is often understood to mean “love.” So, according to these verses, love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth, always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.

1. **John 15:12-13**:
“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

2. **1 John 4:7-8**:
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

3. **Romans 12:9-10**:
“Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.”

4. **1 Peter 4:8**:
“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”

5. **Ephesians 4:2**:
“With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. ♥️

Thank you, Father, for the great love you give us. Help us to learn to love one another as you love us. May your great love grow in this world, along with the understanding and knowledge from your word. #christian #Jesus #Hope #love #faith #bible by @deenahrae

In the Gospel of John, Chapter 1, verses 40-42. In this passage, Andrew, who was one of John the Baptist’s disciples, heard John the Baptist identify Jesus as the Lamb of God. Andrew then went and found his brother Simon Peter and brought him to Jesus. When Jesus saw Peter, he said to him, “Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.” After meeting Jesus, Peter had a significant encounter with fish when Jesus performed a miracle involving a miraculous catch of fish. In the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 5, Jesus instructed Peter to let down his nets for a catch after Peter had been fishing all night without success. Despite Peter’s initial doubt, he obeyed Jesus and caught so many fish that his nets began to break. This miraculous event led Peter to recognize Jesus’ power and authority, prompting him to fall at Jesus’ feet and acknowledge his unworthiness. It was a pivotal moment that deepened Peter’s faith and commitment to following Jesus. After meeting Jesus, Peter became one of His disciples and followed Him. Peter played a significant role in Jesus’ ministry, witnessing His teachings, miracles, and ultimately becoming one of the key figures among the twelve apostles. Peter’s encounter with Jesus marked the beginning of a transformative journey in which he grew in faith and became a prominent leader in the early Christian church. #Simonpeter #bible #word #Christian #Jesus #love #Faith by @deenahrae

Today is International Dance Day, and I thought it would be fitting to share my testimony within the sports community. At a very young age, I started dancing. I loved it so much. I believed it was a way for me to express myself, worship, and find my confidence. Writing my story through movement became my escape from what was going on inside my mind. However, it ended up opening up more trauma.

So, how did Satan come after me through dance?

On my last birthday, something in my spirit felt off. I felt like I was cursing myself, and during the Happy Birthday song, it almost felt ritualistic. I had never felt that before, but something was off. I grew up celebrating my birthday just like everyone else since birth. However, this time, I even noticed people putting death curses onto me by saying, ‘One more year closer to the grave.’ Wait, what doesn’t the Bible say ‘Life and Death comes from the tongue.’ So, I really started thinking and praying about it. I kept hearing the Lord say, ‘It’s okay to remember your Birth-Day, but if you want to celebrate it, be prayed over or celebrate and glorify me for my creation, and I will bless you, your day, year, and years to come.’ But making wishes, blowing out candles, and being sung over, it is witchcraft. Everyone told me I was crazy, but I believed what I had heard. Soon enough, I’m watching my cousins, and the youngest daughter has a children’s witchcraft kit. I decided to read it to know and show evidence to fellow believers of what is in these books. Sure enough, the first page talks about Birthday wishes. Crazy, right? This year, my friends and family will be praying over me, and we will praise the Lord. No more wishes. You know, when I was younger, my birthday wishes would come true. I believe that was the devil trying to deceive me.” #birthday #happybithday #witchcraft #prayer #christian #faith #jesuschrist #love #truth #word #candles by @deenahrae

Have you ever dealt with bitterness, envy, jealousy, religious spirits, confusion, doubt, unbelief debate, and strife within your community? Let’s say someone has specific beliefs on something, but the other person does not. How does the Bible say to handle that? Should you debate, start a war, gossip, end with destruction, involve sin, pressure the person, yell, and walk into strife, judge one another? Never! This is exactly what the enemy wants from us. When you agree to disagree, drop it like it’s hot, be peaceful, kind, and loving. Have passion, but out of respect. Be slow to speak, quick to listen, slow to anger. If you cannot handle the conversation, simply don’t approach it. Remember, you are talking to a brother and sister in Christ, and none of us is God. We need to reflect Jesus’s actions, pray for answers, and go directly to God through it all. He is righteous, just, and He wants holiness within us. Love one another, brothers and sisters, and love yourself. Forgive all, including yourself. Be the fruit of the Spirit. Amen.

Romans 14:19, it says, “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” It reminds us to prioritize peace and building each other up, even when we have different opinions. So, it’s important to handle disagreements with love and respect, focusing on maintaining harmony within our community.

”Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.“
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭

”But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.“
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭26‬
