Happy 4 year wedding anniversary- 9.5 years together!!💍 In Deep Hawaii Art fashion, we spent our 4th anniversary snorkeling (found a ton of fishing weights), eating a mighty Mozza buffet, and spending time together in the sun. A year ago we were beginning renovations for the gallery space and now we’re fully functional! Marriage is the best and we’d 10/10 recommend. 9.21.2022☀️🥰 taken in Lanai City, Hawaii by @deep.hi.art

“First Shack” - Mike Carroll’s newest original oil painting (12”x16”) has landed in Deep Hawaii Art Gallery. This stunning piece is a gorgeous reminder of this special place and a reminder of how powerful the ocean can be. Second photo shows the first shack in its current state😔. Happy birthday to my incredibly creative wife and business partner, Kristin!🩷 Thank you for sharing your talent, kindness, and light with everyone around you.

This photo is from our gallery’s grand opening back in December. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 6 amazing months! Watching this dream come to life has been the greatest adventure. Here’s to celebrating you today and to many more years of creating, growing, and dreaming together. 🥂✨ Happy Birthday! 🎉 taken in Lanai City, Hawaii by @deep.hi.art

Shortbill Spearfish! This beautiful fish was caught on a charter off of Lāna'i. After creating the original gyotaku piece, I had it scanned and put it on canvas as a triptych. At over 90” in total length this piece is a real show stopper! Currently Available. taken in Lanai City, Hawaii by @deep.hi.art

We had a great day out on the water! These gentle giants occasionally will show off and breach repetitively. Today we got lucky! There are plenty of whales still cruising around Maui Nui basin. There were 847 whales counted around the island of Maui on February 28, 2026 for the second count of the Great Whale Count of 2026. by @deep.hi.art
