The dive industry can sometimes feel like a hard place to find your people. There’s a lot of ego, a lot of noise, and sometimes it’s easy to wonder whether the work you’re putting in is actually being seen.

@deep6gear sees my tenacity, and asked me to join their team recently.

Before agreeing to become a part of their team, I spent time looking into their gear but also their philosophy. Deep6 represents going deeper, pushing beyond the surface, and looking at what’s underneath. And in a weirdly perfect way, that’s what this journey has been for me too.

Being chosen as their first ambassador feels incredibly special because it feels earned. Not because I’m the loudest person in the room (well ok, usually I am…) but because I’ve worked hard to become the diver and educator I am today.

And having an agency like @diveraidinternational2.0 alongside that journey feels just as meaningful. Their focus on education, progression, and creating divers who understand why they do what they do mirrors so much of what I believe in.

They’ve watched me grow, watched me work, teach, learn, push myself, and keep showing up. They didn’t just see where I was — they saw where I was going.

I’m still learning. Still growing. Still pushing for more.

Low season at Hydronauts: fewer excuses, more cylinders. 🤿😂

Because when dive professionals get a day off, we obviously relax by… putting on more equipment and going diving.

Divemaster Lisa and Instructor Lana are levelling up with their Sidemount and Independent Diver certifications, all under the expert—and extremely watchful—eyes of Tech Instructor Max. 👀

Why train somewhere else when you already trust the team, know the standards and have access to XDEEP wings, DEEP6 regulators and tech fins?

At Hydronauts, nothing about our standard is standard.

Our staff are always learning, improving and finding new ways to carry more tanks. Not just because they love a challenge, but because every new skill and experience can eventually be passed on to the divers they train.

What an incredible experience at Windup in a Lake ’26 in Chicago.

A huge thank-you to @citizenwatchus for sponsoring the event and inviting us to be part of such a memorable weekend. It was a privilege to celebrate 50 years of Citizen Eco-Drive innovation and the historic connection between watchmaking and diving—not just by talking about dive watches, but by taking them underwater on an actual Great Lakes shipwreck.

Our dive on the Wells Burt in Lake Michigan was fantastic. Descending onto such a beautifully preserved piece of history was a powerful reminder that dive watches were developed as essential instruments for exploration, and that the relationship between watchmaking and diving is real and enduring.

There was also something especially fitting about exploring the wreck beneath the beams of our @orcatorch lights. Citizen Eco-Drive is powered by light, including artificial light, so the same OrcaTorch lights illuminating the Wells Burt could also help power the @citizenwatchus watches on our wrists.

Thank you to @ombraz for supporting the team topside with some awesome shades.

I’m grateful to have shared the experience with the divers and watch enthusiasts of @ships.log. From the perspective of @deep6gear, it was also incredibly rewarding to see so much Deep6 equipment being trusted and used throughout the team on a real expedition.

Thank you to @wornandwound for covering the experience and for creating and operating the @windupwatchfair events that bring this community together.

There are places on Earth that feel almost impossible to comprehend.
