Berlin my sexy mistress in the East! It's hard to believe it's been 4 months (and summer almost at her end) since our groovy psychedelic ride on the Spree in May celebrating the music of Jim Morrison & The Doors.

One of my personal highlights was to share the decks with the delightful Aggy Lou @aggy.lou again and take each other on a musical date 🎶❤️‍🔥. Since last summer we have been low key building up a rather cute and fluffy tradition of bringing our eclectic, psychedelic, bouncy (and cheeky) grooves to you, and I'm happy to say this weekend we ride the banks of the Spree again!

It's also been 9 years since I have been returning to Berlin to DJ: my first gig was back in September 2017 at the cosy Beate Uwe and got this rather wild and magical journey in music and spaces rolling to where it is today! I also recall one of my favourite daytime parties was at @sage_berlin_ for a Watergate open air was in summer 2017!

This time we have the fluffalicious honour of closing the Gardens of Babylon Return to Berlin at SAGE from 02:00-04:00!

The Doors Tribute Experience @ruigoord hit a whole new level ⚡️ raw, hypnotic, and fully dialed in. This aftermovie says it all… the energy, the madness, the moments in between.

Every now and then we get a chance to create special gatherings born of pure passion: those worthwhile labours of love, that you know deep down unshakably, just NEED to be manifested.

Talking to Uone @uone_music about this vision and his own journey in bringing this timeless music and legacy of The Doors and presenting it in a fresh context, and potentially to a new generation of listeners, I understood that this needed to happen.

Uone has been on this journey for over 6 years. And it has been over 6 months in the making to bring this experience to Europe. The whole journey has felt like answering a call. Uone felt it. I felt it. That is when you know you have to just gather the people.

We are so grateful for all the amazing musicians, selectors and dreamers who decided to join us for this special gathering and create such a magical house of love: @rochdietz @konchord @sonido_sur_ @psykmuso @freekvreemd @ineffable_experience_ @amstel_bleach and of course the magical church of @ruigoord ❤️‍🔥💒🪶

First we landed in Amsterdam.. and opened up a portal to create an unforgettable house of love 🪶🪶🌈💒 and channel the spirit of Jim Morrison and the timeless music and legacy of The Doors. Getting the chance to create a once in a lifetime gathering is something most of us will not forget anytime soon.. thank you for trusting your deepAdvisor and cracking open your hearts, minds and perhaps even your doors of perception 🌌✨❤️‍🔥

Bringing this special experience of The Doors Tribute Experience by @uone_music to Europe has been more than 6 months in the making, and sometimes nothing feels more right than teaming up friends who have taken the leap into the unknown and create places to support creativity, art and self-expression.

Thank you to @mariamagdalenaberlin and the LILIUM @lilium.berlin family for giving us the space to bring this special gathering to life. I think we will be doing the memory of Jim and Ray a worthwhile service next week

2018: It was over 8 years ago that I first stepped onto the magical grounds of @ruigoord and was blown away by the beauty and authenticity of this artistic community doing things their own way.

2020: It was over 6 years ago that I first had the chance to DJ there (thanks to @dansormusic ), and have been lucky to play music there a few times including the magical @landjuweel.festival (my favourite festival in Amsterdam by the way).

As I started to branch out from ‘just’ DJing and started on the path of being a sound and space curator at magical gatherings like AfrikaBurn and most recently Garbicz Festival, I sent out intentions to be able to create special gatherings, in line with my creative vision, but also, ultimately, gatherings with meaning. With all the experiences I have had at Ruigoord, I often left thinking: wow, imagine if I could organise an event here some day, that would be a dream

Dream a little dream… because they can come true.
This particular dream, to create something spectacular and meaningful in the most iconic temple of counter-culture in Amsterdam has been a 6+ month long journey, and I am so grateful for the trust that Ruigoord have placed to bring this special labour of love crafted by Uone @uone_music (long one of my biggest musical inspirations and favourite producers) to Amsterdam and Europe and share an experience of blurring the lines between rock shows and raves, and ultimately a calling to bring people together through music, dance and community.

This Saturday night in Amsterdam, we will land in the hallowed grounds of Ruigoord Kerk for The Doors Tribute Experience.

This psychedelic extravaganza, more than 6 months in the making, finally arrives for the European debut of this special deep house tribute: a full journey through sound, ritual, & celebration honouring the legacy of The Doors and the timeless poetry and mysticism of Jim Morrison.

Uone @uone_music, prolific music producer, DJ and lifelong Doors fan (and instigator of this experience) will be travelling all the way from Australia for the first time since 2022, and be joined by an eclectic lineup of musicians.
