In this season of love, when grief weighed our family down, we decided to make a project that shows no matter how heavy the grief, memories are weightless and remain forever.

We painted this hand reaching upward to represent the part of us that is still holding on, while the hearts represent the beautiful, colorful fragments of love that stay with us every day.

Even in the shadows of loss, the love they left behind is a rainbow that never fades. 🌈✨

The Map: Charting out the French and Tamil quarters 🗺️

The Museum: Headed to the Pondicherry museum to spot vintage French relics and ancient Chola bronzes 🏛️

To wrap up our school year, we created this beautiful end-of-year reflection butterfly inspired by the incredible book "The Year We Learned to Fly" by @jacqueline_woodson and beautifully illustrated by @rafaellopezillustration

Just like the characters in the book who used their brilliant minds and imaginations to lift themselves above tough moments, we used this artwork to reflect on her own growth, challenges, and big wins this year. 🐛➡️🦋

We are deep diving into an animal research project and it’s safe to say chameleons🦎 have officially taken over.

We’ve been gathering our facts from Chameleons: Masters of Disguise! by @emmacberne and @jumplibrary Bullfrog Books' Chameleons, reading all about chameleons and their amazing sticky tongues to writing out notes, labeling diagrams and then building one right out of the box with the @legomiddleeast Creator 3-in-1 set (31377). 🧩✨
