Calcutta has always carried its past close.
In its streets, its old facades and its people.

Nostalgia is at the heart of Earth Tapes, so for our first edition in the city, we wanted to be somewhere that carries that same sense of history. On 10.10.26, we bring Earth Tapes CCU to @theharringtonstreetartscentre , a place where a part of old Calcutta still lives.

Balancing the past with the contemporary spirit of the present and adding another shade to Calcutta’s already colourful story are @zokhuma @deepbrownmusic and @8bitculprit

10.10.26 — Earth Tapes at Harrington Street Arts Centre.

For our first @earthtapes_ gathering, we wanted to do something that felt a little removed from the usual club environment.

@theharringtonstreetartscentre gives us the room to build the night around the music, the people and the space itself with no need to turn it into another club night.

@8bitculprit , @zokhuma & @deepbrownmusic join forces once again for the usual debauchery!

Tickets are now live or via @sortmyscene 🎟️ taken in The Harrington Street Arts Centre by @deepinstate_

WHY TAKE THE GIG OUTSIDE A CLUB?

Because we don’t think music needs to be confined to one type of room.

We want to hear it differently. In a different room. Around different people. Alongside art, architecture and everything else that makes a space feel alive.

📍The Harrington Street Art Center.

WHY BUY A TICKET?

A ticket is more than entry.

It’s a contribution towards keeping independent artists, labels, venues and creative spaces alive.

If you want an independent music culture to exist, support it where it happens.

📍The Harrington Street Art Center.

WHAT IS THE HARRINGTON STREET ARTS CENTRE?

Set within the storied Harrington Mansion on Ho Chi Minh Sarani, The Harrington Street Arts Centre is one of Kolkata’s more distinctive cultural addresses - a beautifully restored colonial-era setting where art, history and contemporary culture converge.

📍The Harrington Street Art Center.

WHY THIS IS A SAFE SPACE?

Because the music is only part of the experience.

The room belongs to everyone in it.

Come to dance. Come to listen.
Respect the space. Respect each other.

📍The Harrington Street Art Center.

WHAT IS EARTH TAPES?

Earth Tapes is an independent electronic music label born out of love for the sounds and culture that shaped us.
It’s about digging into the past, looking sideways at the present, and giving space to artists making something of their own.

Circa 2024.

@8bitculprit x @deepbrownmusic x @zokhuma from their last B3B in Kolkata.

Over 900 people packed into the venue that night, making it one of those moments where the city really came together for its own scene.

Some nights end. Some stay with you. ⚡

@frazi.er stepped into Mumbai and had the entire room locked in from the first beat pounding energy, hypnotic sounds and a dancefloor moving as one.

The kind of night that gets louder, heavier and better with every hour. No pauses. No slowing down. Just pure energy until the very end. 🖤

Mumbai, this one was special.
Run it back. 🔊

Last Saturday with @frazi.er 🖤

Wasn’t really a night where I could play my usual style… so I went a little harder instead.

Heavy grooves. Dark energy. No holding back.
This one got CRAZY ⚡️

Big love to Mumbai for bringing the energy 🖤

Thank you to the @deepinstate_ @mtl_entertainments and @wavesthebombayclub for having me. ⚡️

And we keep moving…

THU — KOI, St. Regis Mumbai
SAT — MWAKI, Bhopal

See you on the dancefloor 🖤⚡️
