The 4th .460 Rowland conversion we’ve completed since last summer—and this Les Baer .45 ACP is getting a serious transformation.
This build features a .460 Rowland barrel with V8 porting and a 2-port compensator, capable of sending a 230-grain projectile at approximately 1,400 fps.
We also installed all-new ignition components for a crisp, no-creep 3.5-lb trigger pull. Up top, we machined the slide for a Trijicon RMR/SRO mount with integrated front and rear night sights.
To finish it off, the pistol gets a matte chromium nitride PVD treatment with polished sides on the slide for a clean, distinctive look.
Now it’s time for the final test fire. 🔥
Range day is definitely going to be a little different this week.

Improvements for me means identifying one item at a time to work on. I’ve had to slow it down to ensure I get my hits. Mission accomplished. I will continue to focus on this until I feel this is the new norm then push the speed once again! Sending a huge ask to this community to help a local (Tampa) non-profit supporting the development of our youth who are struggling, at-risk, or involved in the juvenile system.
