hi! I’m Deepa & wanted to re-introduce myself to some new faces here :)

I grew up playing competitive junior tennis, went on to play Division I in college, and then didn’t pick up a racquet for years after graduating because I was completely burnt out.

a few years later, I went to hit some balls at a local tennis club after work and, by total accident, ended up finding a second home (a part-time job) coaching tennis in Manhattan. almost 3 years later, I’m still teaching before & after my 9-5 in finance.

I clearly love a side quest - I work in VC, coach tennis, and make content about my days (I’m more fun on tiktok). I also host community events and clinics.

thanks for being here and hope to see you on court soon! ps feel free to dm or comment any questions 🤍

Now on @vogueindia! Deepa and Tom’s wedding at Rosewood Mayakoba, where cultures didn’t just meet, they moved together as one.

Set within the lush mangroves and winding lagoons of Mexico’s Riviera Maya, their destination held a deeper meaning beyond its natural beauty. For Deepa’s family, the quiet waterways and dense greenery closely echoed the backwaters of Kerala, creating an immediate sense of familiarity and nostalgia. What felt like a destination wedding for many became something far more personal, a landscape that mirrored home. Read the full story by @_palakgodara linked in bio!
