Two years. Two gold medals. 🥇🥇

Last year I did not post Kichu's journey but this year ,a sneak peak into what went behind the scenes!

As parents, it's impossible to put into words what it feels like to watch your child work so hard for something she loves( Just a little force from us🤪).

Everyone sees the performance and the medal. We have seen it all - the countless hours of practice, endless corrections, moments of self-doubt, joint pain, a swollen knee, an injured ankle, neck pain , melt downs , frustrations... and still, she showed up every single time!😘

Winning Gold in the Duet category at the Athens Bollywood Dance Festival for the second year in a row is incredibly special. But what makes us even prouder is the person Kichu is becoming.

Over the past few months, she has shown a level of resilience, discipline, and determination that has honestly inspired us. She used to say ' Let's do it one more time acha '.

Together with her partner Minisha, they gave their 500% inspite of Minisha with her knee injury and back injury just before the competition. Wearing the back belt and dancing with knee tapes is not easy. No one could get a hint of that from the performance.

The medal is the reward, but the journey is what we'll always remember.

@davidsunnykondru , this journey will stay memorable forever. All the costume designing , jewellery fixing, prop hunting , choreo corrections, tea time chit chats are all worth doing it again.

It never would have been possible without the banger choreo by @sujith_htb and special thanks to @g.preetha1 for teaching the girls. It was the right elements at the right place creating the magic.
