Ya Ali 🖤 | Hip-Hop Intensive with Miss Anitha

This choreography definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. Standing in front of the camera made it even more intimidating, but Miss Anitha knew exactly what we needed. Seeing how nervous we were, she simply smiled and said, “We’ll do it.” That confidence made all the difference.

Thank you, Miss Anitha, for always pushing us to be better and believing in us before we believe in ourselves.💗

Last weekend, something in me cracked open.

I looked at myself and, for once, I didn’t see everything I still wanted to change.

I saw proof that I’m still here.

I saw every version of me that fought to get here. The version with no hair. The version who was terrified. The version whose world stopped the day I learned I had stage 3C cancer.

Time froze then. Tomorrow became something I had to hope for.

I don’t think I ever truly processed what that did to me. I think I just survived. I buried the fear, the grief, and the emotions I didn’t have the luxury of feeling.

Now, they’re finding their way back to the surface.

I carry the friends I met through treatment who should still be here. Not a day goes by where I don’t think of them. Not a day goes by, where I don’t think of them. Not. A single. Day. But maybe, the greatest way I can honor them is by fully living the life they deserved to keep living too.

Not too long ago, my biggest dream was simply to be here.

So now, I smile at strangers. I start the conversation. I give the hug. I say what I feel. I love loudly.

Cancer took so much from me, but it also emphasized that time is not promised.

I survived you.

Now I intend to live.

Fully. Loudly. Fearlessly.

For myself.

Three months. 17 people. Countless rehearsals, long commutes, late evenings, and classes filled with practice, corrections, laughs, and memories. And yesterday, seeing it all come together on stage made every single moment totally worth it. ✨

A huge shoutout to @aniiiprakash we are truly blessed to have you as our teacher and to learn from you. You have a way of bringing out the best in each one of us, and this show was a true reflection of your passion, patience, and vision.😍😍🔥🔥

A special thank you to @lil.desi_ and @vismita.dance for their constant support, guidance, and help throughout this journey. 🤗🤗

To all my fellow teammates, it was an absolute pleasure being part of this journey with you. I learned so much from everyone, had loads of fun, and will always cherish this experience. 🥳🥰🙌
