After 20 years of making jewellery, I have something important to share with you. 🫶🏻
It started at my kitchen table. A pair of pliers, a handful of beads, and a feeling I couldn’t ignore, that jewellery could hold something real. Something that mattered.
Twenty years, thousands of pieces, every one made by hand. This has been the great joy of my life. 💞
So it isn’t easy to write this.
I’ve made the decision to close the jewellery side of Deer Ruby. This chapter is coming to an end, and I wanted you to hear it from me first.
Deer Ruby isn’t going anywhere. Our bags and apparel will continue and there is so much still to come. But the jewellery, the pieces that started it all, this is goodbye to those.
You trusted me to mark your milestones. Engagements, birthdays 🥳, mothers and daughters 🤰🏼. Pieces worn every single day. I have never, not once, taken that lightly. Thank you.
This Mother’s Day will be the last opportunity to order a piece of Deer Ruby jewellery, and we wanted to honour that in the most meaningful way we know. By making it about the people you love.
Orders close Monday 20th April. Every piece made by hand, with the same care as always, and delivered in time for Mother’s Day.
If there’s a piece you’ve always wanted, for yourself, for your mum, for someone who deserves something beautiful, now is the time.
Twenty years of making. A lifetime of meaning. Thank you for being part of the Deer Ruby story. We’re not done yet, but this part? It’s been an honour. 😘

Well… we did it. 🥹💞

After months of dreaming, renovating, creating and wondering what this little space would eventually become, we finally opened the doors to Deer Ruby / Beadsville, and what a night it was.

Seeing so many beautiful people come along to support me and Deer Ruby honestly meant more than I can put into words. 🥰

The best part? Everyone got stuck in and made their own piece of jewellery. There was so much creating, chatting, laughing, sharing ideas and connecting. Watching people who had never met before sit down together, get creative and enjoy the moment was exactly what I hoped this space would become.

A place to create.
A place to connect.
A place to slow down and enjoy making something with your own hands. ✨

And now… we’re officially OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! 🎉

You can come into Deer Ruby / Beadsville, browse the shop, get creative, make something beautiful and hopefully leave feeling a little more inspired than when you arrived.

This space has become so much more than a shop for me. It feels like a little creative home and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with me and supported me along the way. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️
