Oct. 9th…checkmate ole bruiser

4yr old me wouldn’t believe a word I told him…

To have the support of a pregnant wife who’s due in 2 months with our little boy. Family and friends who show up anytime, anywhere, and no questions asked just “what do I need to bring.” I wouldn’t believe myself either. I’ve had some time to process and stop and think about the last 48hrs. But I still find myself stopping at the picture of my wife standing behind me holding and keeping our little boy safe while I hold a deer I told him about this summer. It’s a surreal moment. Something changes inside you, not sure what it is exactly yet and maybe I won’t ever know. I’m extremely blessed with the life I have. God is good. by @deersociety
