Four years ago we both called out sick from work.

You wore a blue suit, and I wore a white tutu. We drove to the courthouse to get married, went to @iristattooart to get hand-drawn tattoos of each other, and crashed @beakerandgray to get drunk.

Baby’s first Tuscan Summer.

One thing about Black folks: we’re gonna shenan once and then shenan again.

It’s such a beautiful thing to be in intentional community with other Black yachties. And the best part about it is allowing my son to see a multitude of Black successful families enjoying time together.

He may only be 1, but we’ll likely be spending a lifetime combatting a one-sided narrative about what the Black experience can look like. So we’re starting early.

Baby’s Trip to Isla de Roatan, Honduras. 🇭🇳

The biggest shock about Honduras was the fact that most people here are Black. Before visiting, I thought it was primarily a brown/ Indio country.

We visited a small fishing village where the residents were descendants of Nigerian slaves, and ate some bomb ass lobster and fried snapper.

We rode a water taxi through the mangroves, and Myles loved it. He was pretty chill the whole time. taken in Roatan, Honduras by @deetailor
