Long caption, PLEASE READ!

Throwback to last week's Wednesday.

I was invited to a teenagers' camp, and it was such an experience.

The first thing I noticed was their energy. Honestly, I wanted to feed off it, but the Holy Spirit nudged me, and I chose to yield, as always. What followed was an unforgettable encounter.

It reminded me of my younger self—how we'd always attend programs like this as teenagers and even a few years into adulthood, misbehaving and thinking we were having fun, yet often missing a real encounter.

The first time I had a personal worship experience was in a small gathering with some friends—I'll share that story another time. The second was in my 100 Level when Mama Bukola Bekes was invited to my school's Freshers' Variety Day.

I cried like a baby.

I tried so hard to hide it because I'd never experienced anything like that before, and I was too ashamed to let anyone see me cry. But after I cleaned my face and looked up, I saw guys like myself crying openly, without holding back. That's when I knew we were in serious business.

Ever since then, it's been quite a journey. Seeing this video reminded me of my humble beginnings. I wish I had more understanding back then, but I'm grateful for the lessons I've learned because they've positioned me to make a greater impact today.

I could have easily fed off their energy and indulged them, but to what end?

This experience humbled me, and I'm excited to see what God has in store for these young lives.

A big thank you to the TYCF team for having me 🙏🏽❤️ by @deevalofficial

I've had a number of friends say this song is my favourite song. Well, I have to agree it's one of my favourite songs.

Thank you @okopi_peterson for this beautiful song.
