Nalo, you are my pride, my joy, my greatest blessing literally my entire world. You are my heart in human form,my missing puzzle piece,a little reflection of me, and everything I I prayed to GOD for and so much more...

Watching you grow has been the greatest privilege of my life. I love teaching you right from wrong, watching your little personality blossom, hearing your laughter fill our home and hearts and watching you grow into a handsome King. When your teachers tell me how sweet,respectful,compassionate,intelligent and how kind you are, it doesn't just warm my heart it touches the deepest parts of my soul. Those moments remind me of every sleepless night days after having you making bottles and rocking you to sleep, every prayer,every lesson,every hug,every kiss, and every sacrifice has been worth it.

Before you were even born, I read the poem that I wrote just for you every single day while you were growing inside of me. I always want you to know before you even entered this world how deeply you're loved in advance.

The day God blessed me with a safe delivery and I finally held you in my arms, I looked into your beautiful little face and said,

“Hi, my handsome little dumpling. Nalo, I’m your mommy, Narrise… and I’ll never allow anyone to hurt you or give you half love or fake love.”

And I’ve meant every single word from that very first moment.

I wrapped you in your little swaddles, stayed awake through countless nights when you couldn’t sleep, held you through every cry, celebrated every milestone, wiped every tear, and loved you through every season of your little life. Every moment with you has been a gift.

Now here you are…

My little boy is turning FOUR years old. 🥹🎂

You’re in Pre-K, making friends, making your teachers proud, making Mommy proud, and filling every room you walk into with your bright smile and your unforgettable personality.
