Eddy Bogard plays Louis Stevens!

For those who don't know. I customized an outfit for Eddy Gordo on Tekken 8 to look like my Terry Bogard cosplay. I have uploaded a video of me doing some by side movements with Eddy. The outfit was fitting to wear while going to RICC to meet @dacascosmark

The whole drive up I was thinking, "If I can get Mark to at least do the ginga with me, I will be golden and just the happiness I've ever been." While in line, I asked Mark's handler if he think that Mark would be okay doing the ginga with me. He said he thinks there shouldn't be a problem.

Okay moment of truth...

I said that I had an odd request. And I asked Mark if he would mind doing the ginga with me. But glory to God, Mark did me one better. He suggested we do queixadas. I was happy with just the ginga. But this?!! MIND BLOWN!!

When we got done, Mark said "Not bad for no stretching." Haha I couldnt agree more after sitting in a car for 6 hours 😊. I usually edit my videos. But this was too pure and genuine for me to ruin with editing haha. I am eternally grateful 🙏🏽🙏🏽

We wouldn't have an Eddy Gordo in Tekken if it wasn't for incredible individuals like Mark Dacascos, Amen Santo, Cesar Carneiro, Mestre Jelon Vieira, Mestre Acordeon, Mestre Joao Grande, and Mestre Marcelo Pereira. They are the reasons why we were exposed to such a beautiful, powerful, cultural martial art here in the US.

Mark, if you read this. I can not thank you enough for this full circle moment and making a dream come true. It has been one of the greatest highlights of my life. Muito obrigado por tudo!

So I've had the idea to do this MONTHS before I did the Eddy Bogard video back in April. But at the time, I didn't have the hat. Recently, I finally took a few days to film the clips and spent about a week editing everything (when I wasn't at work, of course, ha.)

Now, this IS in my blood!

Happy Heavenly Birthday to Country, Jazz , Rock n roll, and Rhythm and Blues Hall of Famer, Lifetime Achievement Award winner, singer, songwriter, pianist, the Legendary Ray Charles!

This was one of the first cosplays I've done that wasn't martial arts related.

I did do a video, but I dont know how to post me lipsinging without getting hit with a violation

*Docs Blazin Move*

I was saving this for the anniversary of Def Jam Fight for NY which was released 22 years ago, yesterday, on September 21st, 2004. It became one of the dopest fighting games ever. Def Jam Fight for NY blended martial arts, street brawlin, crowd interaction, off the chart specials in the form of Blazin moves, hiphop MCs and their original music for the soundtrack, as well as stages that capture all the elements of the gritty streets of New York.

I'm honored to have met Danny Trejo and Redman, who were both playable characters in the game. I also made an outfit for Eddy Gordo on Tekken 8 modeled off of Dan G from Fight for NY. Dan G style is capoeira as well, so it was fitting.

When people talk about Def Jam, undoubtedly Fight For NY is the best of the 3. Icons is hardly ever mentioned.

Happy Bipoc Vamp Day!

Been meaning to do this for a while, but better day than today.

In the movie Rocky Balboa, theres a scene where he goes to visit his restaurant and a gentleman asks if Rocky can take a pic with a young man sitting at the table. The guy who asked for the photo is @francescopultro

I've had the honor of meeting him on the set of Sleepers where he played the overseer of the orphans, Dimitri.

All together I've worked on 3 projects directed and produced by Mike Fox of Crystal Fox films, with Francesco. However the only project where we visually worked with each other was for the entry to the Doritos spec ad competition last year. Granted, it was only a few takes and only a few seconds, but hey, I'm still honored to share the screen with him.

The latest project I worked with him on was Crystal Fox Films "The Haunted" which will be doing another screening in Wilmington on September 27th. Him and I are in completely different scenes, but I helped out with sound during his scene.

A man of God and a fellow martial artist, he has been one of the most humble, positive men I've met and just being around him has been a pleasure. I love listening to his stories of all the happenings in and out of the dojo/ dojang.

Francesco, you have been such an awesome person to be around and work with. And hopefully soon we'll be able to actually do some action on camera. God willing.

Every single guy knows her as Nadia the foreign exchange student from the movie, American Pie. Poor Jim haha. Happy Birthday to actress Shannon Elizabeth! She's still as gorgeous as ever. She was great in 13 Ghosts, another horror flick fav.

I think they could have brought her back in Scary Movie 2026, but they didn't. Don't know the reason. Anywho I had the opportunity to meet her at Monster Mania con 2024. When it was my turn for the photo out, I honestly didn't know what to say. Only thing that came to mind was "You can hold my gun." 🤷🏾‍♂️ ha. She was such a great sport and a sweetheart. Pleasure and honor 😊

Happy Birthday to the Legendary Doug Bradley aka Pinhead from the horror cult classic Hellraiser!

I had the opportunity to meet him last month. Great guy. I asked him if he was familiar with the Mortal Kombat game. He said he knows what it is, but never played it.

I said that they've added Leatherface, Freddy, Ghostface, and Jason to the roster of guest characters. Very notable, iconic horror villains from the slasher genre. But for whatever reason, they never added Pinhead. Even Conan and Rambo has been on the game.

For Mortal Kombat to have some of the most creative ways to unalive characters, why would they not add someone like Pinhead? Who also has some of the most creative ways to do away with his victims.

He didn't know why. And I said I didn't either. Anyway, its an honor to meet another horror legend. At one point in time, I was gonna dress up as Pinhead for Halloween. Never did it though.

The remake was okay. But Doug Bradley is Pinhead.

"I am so exquisitely....empty."

Maybe one day ill buy that cube and see if I can open it. Ha

Happy Birthday producer, co-writer, and star of the Best of The Best series. Veteran actor, master of Taekwondo and Hapkido, Philip Rhee!

Back in my competition days, I'd watch Best of the Best 1 and 2 before competing. I'd watched it many times throughout the years. Definitely motivated me to be the Best of The Best. Outside of boxing and more recent mma films, there haven't been too many sport drama flicks like Best of the Best.

Revenge of the Ninja was released 43 years ago today! My mom released me the same year. Ha

I am eternally grateful to have met Sho Kosugi. In 2023, I got to play a ninja on set, and meet the man who inspired my love for everything NINJA, the same year. Big shout out to Dustin De Leon. Meeting Sho could not have been done with you 🙏🏽🙏🏽

This will always be for you. Thank you for picking those movies for me to watch when I was younger. That one decision you made, laid the ground work for who I am today. I dedicate this moment to you.

In honor of James Lew's birthday August 6th, 1952, I'm sharing the only video clip I have of my experience with him. This was last year at the Best of Best cast meet and greet in Vegas. after the meet and greet, attendees were able to participate in a martial arts workshop. Simon Rhee, Philip Rhee, and James Lew showed the group different drills including stretching, coordination drills, reflex exercises, and of course kicking and punching. In this clip, James is helping the group work on front kick feints into inverted round house kicks.

Tbh, I have the WORST inverted kicks ever, my hips are not that flexible. James on the other hand, in his 70s could kick just as hard and fast as I could ever do in my younger years on my best day.

Truly an honor to have two memorable moments with him. When I got the kick somewhat right, James said "Nice!" So yes I celebrated the compliment by doing the cabbage patch after he walked away. Any time a legend compliments me on anything, I'm happy. This is what these guys are what are known for. So yes it means a lot to me.

James Lew passed away on August 23rd, 2026. He would have been 73 years young today.

Thank you again for dedicating your life to the martial arts, to cinema, and being an inspiration to us all.
