Location spotlight - Hell's Gate

Hell's Gate nightclub is the home of The Ravers, a group that is good to know if you want a steady supply of high-quality drugs and supplies. While they have a lot of supplies from the bomb shelter built into the back of the club and drugs from the illegal dealings done before The Event, their substantial lack of a source of fresh food makes them easy to trade with if you have the right goods.

Hell's Gate was also a very popular club for those interested in underground rebel music. Art directly opposing the government or the war at large was banned and seen as seditious, and thus was relegated to shady nightclubs and unofficial venues.

If you would like to try an unreleased occult horror zombie survival tabletop roleplaying game while attending the con, we will be running 3 sessions of Remember Me spread across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

Thursday (10AM - 2PM): A Starving Crowd
The survivors have been locked in a hotel for over a week thanks to a horde. What started as a simple resource collection mission has turned into a long-term lockdown with slim hopes of escape. Try to find a way out and fight off droves of zombies in the process.

Friday (2PM-6PM): Up In Smoke
The survivors must hunt down the source of an unnatural wildfire before it closes in on an innocent camp of remnants it seems intent or beelining for. A couple of parties have already gone missing on the same mission, but none have prevailed. You are their final hope.

Saturday (10AM-2PM): Precious Cargo
A team of couriers responsible for retrieving much-needed medical supplies has gone missing. The Salvare need you to find out what happened to them, bring back their cargo, and if possible, the couriers too; or what's left of them.

The sessions will be located in the Marriott attached to the convention center in the Kentucky room. The room is accessible by ground level or skybridge!

Friday:
3pm-7pm: Blood Drive

A team of couriers responsible for retrieving much-needed medical supplies has gone missing. The Salvare need you to find out what happened to them, bring back their cargo, and if possible, the curriers too; or what's left of them.

Saturday:
2PM-6PM: A Starving Crowd

The Survivors have been locked in a hotel for over a week now, thanks to a military helicopter attracting a horde. What started as a simple resource collection mission has turned into a long-term lockdown with slim hopes of escape. Try to find a way out and fight off the droves of zombies in the process.

7PM-11PM: Precious Cargo

The survivors awake in a cold and unfamiliar place, the belly of the beast, and must choose their actions wisely if they want to get out alive.

All sessions are located in the Charles De Gaulle room on the International level of the convention center!

Hounds are fast movers and amazing trackers, with bodies heavily modified that allow them to run on all fours. Their abdominal and chest cavities have been expanded and repurposed to contain an excessive amount of modified intestines used to attack and restrain targets, functioning similarly to tentacles.

Hounds prefer to hunt either alone or in a small, spread-out pack. It will hunt for prey and will either handle it itself or let out a loud howl that attracts nearby zombies. While it prefers to kill its prey itself, if it is only able to restrain its prey long enough for other zombies to come to its aid, it will.

Bloaters are large and misshapen Super Zombies formed from the most depraved and self destructive zombified individuals that are brought down into the bowels of a Depth Of S’khro. They scuttle on all fours with bone shards protruding through their skin like quills. While they will bite, one of their main attacks is hurling their body at their opponent, attempting to impale them on one of their spikes. They scream similar to a pig squeal when excited and will explode when either killed or on the verge of death. The bone shards along their back fire from their body when they explode, causing shrapnel to fire in every direction, potentially up to medium range.

Super Zombie Introduction: The Puppeteer

Puppeteers stand as tall as a horse, walking on all fours, and are born from zombies that choose to lure victims in with their voice. Once they have proven their potential to their master, they descend into the belly of a Depth of S’khro, only emerging once they have molted into their new form. It is able to puppet the body nearly perfectly and mimic the voice of anyone it has puppeted.

While incredibly deadly on its first strike, it relies heavily on the element of surprise due to its low defensive and offensive abilities. It has no hardened body parts or deadly appendages, with its only main offensive capabilities coming from the body it is puppeting, fast movement, and strong kicks.

Lore Drop - The Eastern Gate

The Wall is one of the more dangerous locations that Survivors can encounter while scavenging in The Containment Zone, and The Eastern Gate is its main official point of ingress. It stands 30 feet tall and sports guard towers, a heavily armored two-stage gate, and 12" of reinforced concrete.

None who enter The Containment Zone are allowed to leave, including the members of the military that can be found roaming TCZ. They are placed on duty with the express understanding and agreement that they will more likely than not never return. The rabid desperation of financial situations, crippling lack of purpose, and suicidal nationalism alike used to bend their will.
