A few months ago, I signed up for something that I thought about doing for a long time. I put it off for years because the fear I felt was greater than the excitement of it. Every Monday for the last five weeks, I joined seven amazing women looking to try something new. With the incredibly talented @deannaortiz_ as our teacher and comedic guide, we tried our hand at writing and performing our own standup comedy.

To say I was SHOOK before getting on stage to perform my material in front of a crowd is an understatement, but with the love and support of these ladies and my family/friends (special shout-out to @whitneb and @imaginates again), I got up there and did it. It was thrilling.

I proved to myself that I could do a really scary thing and I hope to keep doing it. ✨

It’s also just really good to know that being named “Wittiest” of Terry Sanford High School’s graduating class of 2006 hasn’t completely gone to waste! 😂 taken in The Lincoln Lodge by @deidre_rae

Cute, innit?

London was love. I went into my solo trip wanting to just “go with the flow” and with the flow I went. 😂

I could go on and on about it, but I’m so incredibly thankful for all of the experiences I had and the amazing people I met along the way who became fast friends (you know who you are)! I saw and did way more than I could have even imagined and I’m so in awe of it. I’ll be back very soon! ✨💋
