Wow, it’s hot out! I had a late start today after running “errands” aka online returns.

I saw some gems at the thrift, but ultimately left empty handed. It’s important to be selective. I try to only thrift/buy what I really love.

I’m so lucky I get to be from Massachusetts. 3 days from Western Mass to Cape Cod to Marblehead and back.

We’re going to pretend the extra 4 hours I drove to retrieve my work laptop I left at a friend’s house didn’t happen 🤫

Too much ice cream, one giant lobster roll, a very cute baby, and quality time with good friends.

This is my first summer in a strong body. Last time I swam here I sprained my ankle - but now I can catch myself on the slippery rocks. Every time I do something that used to take a lot of mental and physical energy, I find myself so much more present in the moment. Hello Friends…

This post is long overdue. For months I’ve been avoiding making a decision about what to do next with Thova. I started my business in the summer of 2020 after being laid off from the company I had worked for since 2011. The safety net of a covid era unemployment check gave me the space I needed to get unstuck from a life I was really unhappy in.

Over the last 4 years I’ve explored my love of fashion and my creative side, made amazing connections, and most importantly - I trust myself again.

I’m not deleting this page, but I won’t be selling clothes anytime soon. I’m building a new career and enjoying my life and that’s enough for me right now.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who shopped with me, or just encouraged me along the way. A huge thank you to the plus size vintage community - all of this has impacted my life in hugely positive ways.
