The @ajcnews did a lovely write up of our bamboo mentor Daphne. She’s amazing and most certainly imbued her love of bamboo to Michael and I. Congrats @bamboofarming ❤️ taken in Bamboo Farming USA by @deisha_o

We took a break from market to focus on our families and rest. We were able to use that time well and stood our website up to also include our newly bottled goods. We missed all our folks @aefarmersmarket and look forward to being with all y’all! Folks kept asking for a smaller more accessible balm size and here it is … our small batch bamboo balm in a lovely rose gold tin! We have blended and triple infused bamboo with calendula, helichrysum, plantain, and cleavers in a rich shea butter and ethically sourced organic beeswax. A little goes a long way and you can use this all over! $15 and available now! Also … have y’all heard this @thewomacksisters record?! This is our #summerjam y’all ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 by @deisha_o

Sometimes you stumble into a passion you didn’t even know you needed.

And sometimes, if you’re especially lucky, that passion comes with a mentor like Daphne.

Our very first big project with her was learning how to make charcoal — a process as fascinating as bamboo itself. That first spark led Michael and me into years of experimenting, learning, and falling deeper in love with all the many forms bamboo can take: charcoal, activated charcoal, hydrosol, infused oils, soaps, and beyond.

What a gorgeous thing it has been to fall in love with bamboo — and to keep learning, making, and growing from there.

Happy three years to #WondergrassBamboo ❤️‍🔥

Come see us and celebrate this sweet little bamboo dream with us. We will be @aefarmersmarket this Sunday from 10-1 😘 taken in Bamboo Farming USA by @deisha_o
