HEYYY TSUUUU, SHE’S BACK!!

First week of school finished!! I’m so happy to be back at the Illustrious Tennessee State University! Made it through Pre-Drill and God has blessed me with new opportunities, connections, and knowledge for this upcoming year. SVG & HBCUGO TV COLLEGE SUMMIT 🎥✨

Committed to the Journey and Documenting Year Two

On May 28–29th, I had the opportunity to attend the SVG Sports Video Group/HBCUGO TV College Summit at the Hilton Atlanta Hotel. As a rising junior at The Tennessee State University majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism, the experience expanded my understanding of the evolving sports media and production industry.

Throughout the summit, industry leaders shared insights on sports broadcasting, content creation, storytelling, and the growing impact of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities. Beyond technical skills, one of the conference’s biggest themes was the importance of partnerships, collaboration, and relationship-building. Speakers emphasized that success in this industry is driven not only by talent, but also by teamwork, communication, adaptability, and professionalism.

One of my biggest takeaways was the importance of being a lifelong learner. Every opportunity, project, and connection offers a chance to grow both personally and professionally. Year 2, reminded me that while talent may open doors; collaboration, strong relationships, and continuous learning are what create lasting success.

HAPPY 404 DAY 🥳

TSU ATL CLUB took over Centennial Park and Broadway in the spirt of giving back! We distributed to over 20+ unhoused individuals and several families as well as children in need to make sure they had a meal that was good and free of charge! We are so grateful to have a great turn out for this event and understand just how monumental an event like this is to the community!
