All done with one coil machine on my power supply. Lining, shading, everything. It's become apparent that a long front spring liner can do every task. Just turn the speed down on the liner with the power supply. Boom. Long spring, though. by @dekeharms

The long A-bar mitigates the common spitting issues we’ve all encountered with other machines, and allows for a wider stroke and operating range. Fine lines, sure. Fat sharpie one-pass lines? You bet. Gentle layering, to all out whips. Betty has you covered.

Weight: 5.1oz

Stroke: 2mm-5.5+

Voltage range: 2.8ish-7.5+

Use a wide rubber band with just enough tension to stabilize the needle bar. Anything more is excessive and will make it hit softer, and not as punchy at lower volts.

Positive up on the clip cord is snappier, positive down is a bit more mellow. I usually always run positive up for shading, and positive down for quicker lining. by @dekeharms

Machine: Betty V2 by Harms MFG

Betty V2 lines, performed by @alexthorntontattoo. Showing how effortless and non-spitty she runs. The reason is the long a-bar and geometry. There's less rotational motion at the tip of the bar, so it doesnt knock around the needle bar like machines with shorter a-bars do. And bonus, the long bar opens up a way wider usable range. So not only is it a dream to line with, the shading and packing is unreal. Incredibly efficient, and less trauma.The size of the machine is alot closer to a standard coil. Doesn't feel dinky and feels more stable in your hands.

The Betty V2.

*Insanely long A-Bar: Less spitting, way wider range and stroke.
*Size: Doesn't feel like a toy. Think coil size.
*Stroke: 2-5.5mm+
*Voltage range: 3-7.5 or so
*Front loading vice

This machine will push anything. Not only is it an amazing liner, but is an incredible shader/packer/whipper/dotter. That's where others fall short at times IMO. In the lower end.

Price: $750-$900
