Owning a childcare centre means somehow years can fly by before you finally stop long enough to take some photos of the journey 📸

This year, as we celebrate 5 years of Bright Horizons, I took the time to step in front of the camera and capture the heart behind what we do every day. It was made even more special spending the day with my favourite little guy while documenting the joy and learning that fills these walls.

What started as a dream has grown into a community filled with dedicated educators, loving families, and so many special children. Every child we welcome reminds me why I love this work so deeply.

It is a privilege to be part of these early years, to watch children grow, and to provide a place where they are loved, nurtured, and encouraged to flourish. My gratitude for working with a team of amazing humans who bring love and care into our school every single day is immense.

Five years later, my heart is just as full, and my passion for this work is stronger than ever. Thank you to every family, educator, and child who has been part of our community. Here’s to the next 5! ✏️📓 by @dekkoustudio

| CUSTOM HOME |

A study in balance.
Soft neutrals, sculptural lighting, and champagne brass accents come together to create a kitchen that feels both elevated and effortless.
The custom hood detail anchors the space, while pendants by Matteo Lighting introduce a quiet layer of dimension above the island. Every proportion, finish, and fixture was intentionally considered, resulting in a space that feels calm, curated, and enduring.
Designed start to finish by Villing Design Co. as part of a full-service custom home.
Timeless. Understated. Refined.

My path was never ordinary.

Before real estate, there was discipline. Long mornings. Quiet nights. Years of coaching, building businesses, and learning how to truly serve people. Fitness and mindset taught me something early. Real transformation comes from structure, intention, and consistency.

When I began managing my own condos and Airbnbs, I saw how powerful real estate becomes when it is done properly. Not rushed. Not transactional. When handled with care, property becomes freedom. Stability. A foundation for a better life.

The deeper my personal growth went, the clearer my purpose became. Helping people create security and peace through ownership.

I am now training under Arkin Estates at eXp Realty, stepping into this next chapter with the same discipline and presence that shaped every season before it. My mornings begin with stillness, movement, and breath. That structure gives me clarity. That clarity allows me to serve people with intention.

I do not just see properties. I see people. I see families stepping into their next chapter. I see the weight of decisions and the legacy they create.

This is not about selling homes.
This is about building foundations people can stand on.

Grateful for the journey so far. Focused on what is ahead.

I lost myself in motherhood.
And for a long time, I didn’t even notice.

If you knew me before kids, you’d know I was so sure of where I was headed.
I wanted to work in sports nutrition, performance, athletes, high-level environments. And when I finally landed the “dream job,” it turned out to be the opposite — a toxic, draining space that made me question everything.

So I pivoted.
Clinics. Diabetes centres. Different roles within nutrition that still didn’t feel like me.
I remember thinking, How did I end up here? Why did I choose this path?

And then I became a mom.

And then another mom.
…and another.
…and another.

For a while, it was 4 under 4, and I was completely swallowed by motherhood.
Every professional title and accreditation I worked so hard for suddenly felt impossible to maintain. My role at home needed all of me — and I gave it.
Willingly.
But not without losing pieces of myself along the way.

There’s a version of motherhood no one warns you about:
The one where you look in the mirror and barely recognize the woman staring back.

But that was part of my journey.
Exactly where I was meant to be.

Slowly, I rebuilt.
I got more patient.
More confident.
Realigned with my purpose.
Motherhood didn’t take my identity… it reshaped it.

With a professional background in nutrition and the lived experience of raising four little humans, I finally found my purpose:

Nutritionist Mamma — a space built for women who want to feel strong, nourished, energized, and themselves again.
A space where transformation is rooted in real life, busy schedules, messy kitchens, and constant kid interruptions… not perfection.

This is who I am.
And this is why I’m here:
To help women rediscover themselves through simple, sustainable nutrition — without losing themselves in the process.

This event reminded me that starting small doesn’t mean thinking small — it means having the courage to begin. And that’s exactly what I’m doing.
