From 6am we've been at Nasser Hospital.

My mom had surgery today. It went well. 🤍

The past few days I've been by her side — that's where I've been.

She's resting now. I'm sitting next to her, finally breathing.

Please keep her in your prayers for a full recovery.

We published this reading list last summer. We're bringing it back, because the moment calls for it.

Nine books. Nine racialised authors from across Europe. Nine frameworks for understanding and dismantling racial inequality.

In a charged political environment where anti-racism work is increasingly contested, choosing to read, amplify, and fund racialised voices is an act of resistance. The SPARK Community members who wrote these books bring lived experience, community connection, and intellectual rigour to questions that institutions too often avoid.

The genocide in Gaza is not only taking lives—it is destroying the health of those who survive.

Just three days ago, my 15-year-old brother was diagnosed with chronic autoimmune rheumatism. He now needs daily medication to slow the disease and prevent it from causing permanent damage to his body.

My aunt is living with a neurological condition brought on by overwhelming psychological trauma. As for me, my stomach pain keeps returning, and with everything happening around us, my mental health has reached one of the lowest points I've ever experienced.

Today, I'm asking you to stand beside my family.

We urgently need help to afford the medications we can no longer manage on our own. My little brother, especially, cannot miss his daily treatment. Every missed dose gives this disease another chance to progress.

If you've supported me before, please know that I need you now more than ever. Your kindness has carried us through impossible days, and I'm hoping it can carry us through this one too.

Please donate if you can, share our story if you cannot, and keep us in your prayers.

Derfor inviterer vi sammen med Teach First Danmark alumne Sanne Bruun til et dialogmøde, hvor du som underviser eller lærerstuderende får mulighed for at sætte dit præg på udviklingen af fremtidens undervisningsmaterialer i demokrati og rettigheder ✍

Vi får også besøg af @dekonstruer, som vil facilitere dialogen om undervisning i demokrati og rettigheder💡

Anbefalinger fra @councilofeurope til at skabe fuld deltagelse for Roma, rejsende og andre marginaliserende grupper i udviklingen af skole curriculum og undervisningsmaterialer.

Tusind tak til @euroclio for at invitere mig med ombord til at dele mine perspektiver, erfaringer og viden om netop dette.

Det er så vigtigt, at vi får rodfæstet indsatserne for mere retfærdige og ligeværdige læringsmiljøer i skolen i etablerede instanser. Hvorfor mere og mere af mit arbejde også tager et mere strategisk afsæt.

Når jeg sidder med som bisidder for forældre hvis børn oplever racisme, bliver jeg ofte chokeret over, hvor lidt tyngde teoretiske perspektiver har for de skoleledere, der sidder på den anden side af bordet.

Til gengæld vækker det genklang, når jeg kan pege på forskellige organisationer og politiske organer, der fremhæver noget af det samme.

Det understreger samtidig også det ansvar, der ligger hos aktører på det institutionelle niveau og netop her er anbefalingerne fra Council of Europe vigtige!

Ræk endelig ud hvis du også vil være med til at arbejde med en mere strategisk tilgang til at sikre retfærdighed og ligeværd i skolen (og samfundet generelt) by @dekonstruer

Distribution of the first food baskets during Ramadan to poor families 🤩✨️

Alhamdulillah, and thanks to your donations, on the second day of #Ramadan, I was able to buy all the basic necessities for a family of five (with three children). I am so happy that I was able to take this step, thanks to your support
