Every part of who I am is informed by the city streets: the food, the music, the culture, and most importantly, the people. New York is and has always been my home—a gift I’m forever grateful for and never take for granted. Shoutout to all my native New Yorkers!!
Thank you @manuelzuniga @voguemexico and the entire team ❤️ ¡Que viva la raza!

Bring in the drums! And the 303s! It’s Major Records’ 50th release, and we’re celebrating with a percussive heater from the Bronx’s own Alexis De La Rosa, who on his label début, melds marching band fervor with sexy acid techno, paired with a bangin’ remix from world-renowned dance music maven Lauren Flax.

Driven by a thick synth line, throbbing bass, heavy tom drums, and seductive vocals, “Sunshine” is an entrancing journey that evolves kaleidoscopically over seven and a half minutes, inviting dancers to writhe and release as a polyrhythmic parade of tambourine, whistles, timbales, and agogô bells (part Samba school, part Cuban conga) breathes life into the 4x4 beat. Lauren Flax stirs the pot and doubles the dose of acid, with a squelchier, wobblier, and altogether sweat-inducing remix that edges to a point of no return, whipping excitement into full-blown frenzy.

Having heated up festival floors all summer, “Sunshine” brings some digital warmth to your USB, carrying echoes of long days and late nights into the months ahead.
