I was talking with my old man the other day and he used a word I had never heard before: “fool tool.” I went searching for the meaning but couldn’t really find anything. Then the word “footstool” came to my mind, and I started connecting the two. Fool tool. Footstool. And I caught something… To be a fool for Christ is to become a tool in His hands, but that tool must remain at His footstool. Listening. Submitting. Yielding. Letting Him have His way. A fool for Christ. A tool in His hands. At His footstool. Have you ever noticed what we do when someone suddenly dies? Especially when their death is announced on social media, many of us quietly visit their profile. We scroll through their pictures, read their old posts, look at their interactions and, in some strange way, try to discover who they were and how they lived. Sometimes, we never knew them when they were alive. Yet their death makes us curious about their story. And that should make us pause. Life is incredibly fragile. Today, we are posting, laughing, making plans, arguing, chasing money and building our dreams. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. One day, someone may visit your page not because you posted something new, but because they are trying to understand the life you lived. So while we are here, let our lives speak well of us. Let our words carry kindness. Let our relationships matter. Let us love people, forgive, serve God and make a positive difference while we still have the opportunity. Don’t wait for death to make your life meaningful. Life is a gift. Treat it that way. 🙏🏾highlight by @delamichael_
