im so incredibly grateful, emotional, and excited to announce that I'll be running the New York City Marathon 2026 with Team for Kids! literally what?!?!

anyone who knows me knows my two favorite things are new york and running so getting the opportunity to run this marathon is a dream come true. I never in a million years thought something like this would be possible for me. Running has become something that empowers me, builds my confidence, and teaches me how to show up even when theres no motivation. somedays its more joyful than others but it never fails to prove that i can do hard things.

This sport has also taught me to have gratitude for the things I used to take for granted: being able-bodied and having the time and space to train. I have the privilege to choose to run and many people dont get that choice.

This is why Im absolutely honored to be running with Team for Kids. Team for Kids is a charity that works to provide kids with low cost or free youth community programs to encourage them to get active! They help kids build confidence and strength. The lessons running has taught me — resilience, confidence, joy in movement — are gifts I hope every child can experience, and Team for Kids makes that possible.
