Sincerely, Delaney Kastensmidt, J.D.!

This week, I graduate for the final time with my third degree from the best university in the world. Law school was the most challenging, transformative, and rewarding season of my life. During my last three years in Gainesville (a place that now feels more like a second home to me), I married my best friend who I met here, advocated for the most vulnerable women and children in my community, and made memories I’ll hold with me forever.

Seven years ago, I arrived at the University of Florida ready to begin a new chapter as an 18-year-old who always dreamt of being a Florida Gator. If only I knew what the Lord had in store for me here… I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to fully express just how deeply this place shaped me into the woman I’ve become since I first stepped foot on campus seven years ago, but I do know one thing for certain: it is a privilege to wear orange & blue!
