Yam Yam Racing test day update

All in all great day out thanks to @scott_nobby_lewry_yamyamracing for organising this

Thanks to the boys that helped out on the day @dover_jam @hasancivic @k24_gap @jorgee_seerra @scottymorris1
Very much appreciated the help and support of these guys

Not quite where we wanted to end the day, we can’t seem to get 60ft where we wanted but looking over the logs, time slips and videos we have a plan
Car was pretty much faultless bar an injector wire issue and dump valve clamp problem

China twin disc held up and so did the stock shafts so pretty chuffed about that

Some know what times we ran either due to being on site or hearing it from others, for anyone else you will unfortunately have to wait till the YouTube video comes out, sorry not sorry

Eager to get back out as it’s been about 3 years since I last went up the strip soooo very much back on going again

Ended the day with a new PB and plenty of boost left on tap

Car drove back on the trailer so can’t complain about that
Stock K20 putting in work for sure

Perfect combination right here, great RWD chassis with the right motor setup

@simoncollier224 brought us his very well put together E46 M3 race car with a Built K24 turbo
Absolute Perfection 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Sleeved K24 block, Built K20 head
Elite Sequential gearbox
Dry sump kit
Garrett Turbo
Turbosmart products
Syvecs S7 and a ton of ECU Masters gear

Dyno calibration done, Plenty of of HP on tap with 4 Cal settings to use as he wishes

Was a pleasure setting this up and will be seeing this car again over winter for some changes

Simon has done just about everything to this car, ground up build and with some more time and test days it will be epic, if that’s even possible

Boost creep made things difficult for setting up the boost settings but we did the best we could with what we had, other that a very hassle free couple days setting this up and having a play with some of the additional dash settings he wanted

Thats the van finally back up and running after our 27 hour Recovery back from Newcastle 👀

The Honda Integra DC2 is heading over to the guys at @delanobuilt for a mapping session on the dyno but what numbers will a 2.2 N/A engine produce?

Let me know what you think? Closest number wins a Limited Edition Dans Automotive Mug 🍵
