I want every single person who knew you to understand just how much you meant to all of us. God blessed us with having you in our lives and I’m forever grateful🕊️

Tia, you were so loved. You ARE so loved. You had a way of making every room brighter the moment you walked into it. No matter what was going on in your own life, you never failed to put a smile on someone else’s face. Cancer is evil, and I have never witnessed strength like the strength you showed through every battle, and every impossible day. You fought harder than anyone I have ever known.

I didn’t just lose Tia. I lost my best friend, my second mom, my keeper of secrets, my therapist, my biggest supporter, and one of the greatest blessings in my life. You were everything a person could ever hope to find in someone they love.

For 21 years, you weren’t just part of our family.. you were the heart of it. You filled our home with laughter, warmth, and a kind of love that made everyone feel safe. You had a gift for making people feel like they belonged.

Every time I brought someone into your room, I would say, “Hola Tia, es mi amiga(o)…” and before I could say anything else, your face would light up. It didn’t matter if they were a lifelong friend or someone I had just met. You welcomed everyone with open arms, a smile, and enough love to make them feel like family. That was just who you were.

You celebrated every accomplishment(big or little), comforted every event, and somehow always knew exactly what to say when someone needed you. You gave so much of yourself to the people around you.

I will miss hearing your voice, your jokes, your advice, and the way you could make even the worst days feel a little lighter. But more than anything, I am grateful. Grateful that I got to love you. Grateful that I got to be loved by you.

Thank you for every hug, every laugh, every sacrifice, and every memory. Thank you for loving us the way you did.

Until we meet again, Tia. I hope you know just how deeply, endlessly, and completely you are loved. May you rest in peace and watch over our family🕊️
