To celebrate Janus films theatrical rerelease of fashion’s iconic documentary UNZIPPED, I want to share with you my first fashion week at The Tents in 1994.

These photos were taken by me at age 14, front of house & backstage at Issac Mizrahi Fall ‘94. This collection made history and required viewing for fashion historians.

UNZIPPED by Douglas Keeve, is back in theaters September 25th at Film Forum.

It might be summertime, but the grind never stops for the Gorilla Grapplers. Dozens of local wrestlers are in Sidney each week putting in the work. The heat and sweat don’t slow them down. The tough days of summer can lead to big moments on the podium when it matters most.

Maverick Beckwith (Norwich): D-I Army West Point commit and 3-time NYS champ. Approaching 200 career high school wins and still adding to an already loaded resume. Nationally ranked at 150 and headed to Fargo for Junior Nationals. Tough, tactical and cool under pressure. You can never count out Mav.

Landyn Shaffer (Deposit-Hancock): D-I Binghamton University commit and coming off his first NYS title in 2026. Over 150 career high school wins and nationally ranked at 144. He will be a tough competitor at Fargo this summer. One year ago, Landyn made a name for himself in North Dakota and hasn’t looked back since. Has been red hot in every tournament he has entered over the last 12 months. Nobody wants to see his name on their side of the Fargo bracket.

Sammi Massey (Mount Markham): Just finished 8th grade and already a NYS champ with close to 100 career high school wins. Nationally ranked and a dangerous threat in the lower weights, Sammi is highly motivated after a late-season injury cut her state tournament run short. One of the brightest young stars in girls wrestling in New York and loves training with the Gorillas.

Ashten Haley (Cobleskill-Richmondville): Rising senior and D-I Binghamton commit. Currently healing up from injury but still nationally ranked. When healthy, Ashten can hang with anyone in the state in the middle weights. Extremely close with Coach Nate Leonard and always willing to make the long drive to make sweat deposits in Sidney.

Best of luck to the Gorillas headed to Fargo and kudos to the entire club for putting in the quiet hours of work when nobody is watching. Always remember… you are DELCO strong!
