The Nahous at the heart of Lagos, we’ve built a home for culture to live, breathe, and evolve. A place where artistry meets architecture, where heritage sparks possibility, and where bold ideas take root.
Every wall, line, and open courtyard has been imagined to invite dialogue and creation. Here, makers and visionaries gather not only to share but to shape what comes next.
This short film offers a glimpse into Nahous, curated by Richard Vedelago (@rv_windsor), and brought to life through the lens of movement, memory, and meaning.

A moment we’re incredibly proud of. 🇳🇬🌍
Some of our photographs are currently being showcased @biennale_africa as part of the exhibition by @nanacollective_studio
As architectural storytellers, we’re always interested in more than simply documenting buildings — we seek to capture the ideas, details, materiality and atmosphere that give architecture its voice.
It’s an honour to see our images representing the work of Nana Collective on a platform celebrating the richness and diversity of African architecture.

Proud to have played a small part in telling these stories.

A monument to memory, rooted in place. Built in Ilase Osun State by @nanacollective_studio it’s a place of rest for a prominent citizen. A unique design built with locally sourced materials and precise engineering, this mausoleum reflects how architecture can honor legacy while embracing the richness of its environment. Quiet, timeless, and deeply connected to the land it stands on.

A century of faith, craft, and timeless design. 🕌 🌙

This 100-year-old mosque stands as a living masterpiece of sacred architecture-where soaring arches, intricate patterns, and quiet symmetry tell stories of devotion across generations. Every column, every carving, every beam reflects the artistry and spiritual heritage that shaped this space.
Step inside the history. Experience the architecture.

In a time when spaces are often transactional, Nahous dares to be transformational.

A new cultural space at the heart of Lagos, @n.a.h.o.u.s is more than concrete and concept, it is a dialogue between heritage and possibility.

Nahous is designed as a vessel for visionaries. A place for artists, thinkers, and architects of culture to gather, exhibit, and expand. Every corridor, curve, and corner of Nahous invites collaboration, a creative landmark built to inspire generations ahead.

Shot through the lens of movement, memory, and meaning, this is the story of a space imagined by the founder Richard Vedelago.
