Hello to all lovely people reading this! Long time since a proper post, but I wanted to share that my musical improv team ANOMALY is performing in a competition called TROLL FIGHT this Saturday at THE BRIDGE Improv Theater!

This group has brought so much joy, friendship, and laughter into my life, and it was such a treat for me to gather these clips and look back on these moments with a full full heart.

IT’S BUG DAY!!!!! 🐛🪱🪲🐞🦋🐝

Exactly 4 years ago I brought home this special guy, who has brightened my life every day that I’ve been lucky enough to see his sweet face. When I got him, he was over two years old and “””full grown””” at TWELVE INCHES. For perspective, when my sweet boy Bunny was two, he was 22 inches !!! Bug boy was not doing too hot, he was scrawny, lethargic, skittish, and deeply distrustful of humans. I worked with him slowly, and had the joy of seeing him come alive, day by day. I saw his colors brighten more than I could’ve imagined, saw his muscles grow, and felt him opening up to me bit by bit. Now he’s 18 inches!!! And he’s the sweetest guy, though he kept some of his sass, for sure! It has been one of the great honors of my life to see him turn into what he is today, and though I miss Bunny and Bambi everyday, I also count myself so lucky and blessed that this guy stuck around. I love him more than words, and I will take care of him and treasure him till the very end, which with any luck, is years and years away 🥹 Happy Gotcha Day, Bug. Thank you for being you, and for giving me purpose and joy even on my darkest days. I love love love you 4ever and ever ❤️💛💙 #bugothy

Yesterday marked a quarter century for me, 25 years of laughing, singing, creating, loving, and making memories 💕🌈🎂☀️🎈🌻🍄

My last year gave me so many valuable things. There were certainly trials, days or weeks that would’ve made a past version of myself crumble… But this past year I’ve developed a whole new sense of calm, a sense of security in myself. I feel like I’ve learned to see things in a whole new way, and it has given me a new perspective on every bump in the road. I’m more grateful for everything and everyone I have in my life than ever before, and I take the time to verbalize it more than I ever have. I always heard people tell me how important that is, how healing- but it’s been such a treat to finally put it into action, and feel the effects on my body and my soul 💛 I’ve been so lucky and blessed to have such incredible people in my life, who make this whole journey worth it. Every day I get to spend with anyone of them ignites my entire being, reminds me of the best joys in life. This year, I’ve changed more than any year of my life so far, and again- I’m so very grateful.
I’m infamously terrible at documenting my life, both the big and the every day little moments, so these photos could not possibly capture everything that made this year so special- but looking at these photos and seeing so many people I love makes me happy beyond words.
Thank you to everyone who’s in these pictures, and everyone who’s not. If you’re reading this, thank you, and I wish you only the best 🌻

I’ll leave you with a clip of a solo I was honored to sing, from the last fall concert that I got to perform with Pacific Standard Time, a group that changed my life forever. With all the changes that I’ve gone through, and all the changes yet to come, I’ve been comforted by this lyric, so I’ll leave it with you:
“I like the sunrise, cause it brings a new day
I like a new day, it brings new hope they say…”
