It’s been over a month since the Miss Hawaiʻi pageant and I’m finally settled down enough from life to really express my gratitude 💛At the beginning of 2025 I decided to compete in 2026! When I was first thinking about it, my main reason was for more exposure to opportunities. But as I did my research, I saw that it would truly push me to establish Mental Mana (a goal I had), serve the community, and grow beyond my boundaries.And that it did 💛.All three of those were accomplished through sleepless nights, endless coaching, and leaning on the loving people surrounding me.That final evening was where I gave it my all, truly bloomed on stage, and was humbled by the overwhelming love from my family, friends, and pageant sisters. I wouldn’t change a thing.To my friends and family: Thank you for lifting me along the way, especially when my belief in myself was wavering. Every success I had along the way belongs to US, not just me and I could never say or do enough to show you all how grateful I am. I pray that I made you all proud 💛.To my pageant sisters: Walking away as your Miss Congeniality meant the world 🥹 to know that you all knew how much I genuinely cared for each of you was an honor beyond words and I’m legitimately crying typing this LOLLLL. Sisterhood is my favorite point on the crown and doing this with y’all made everything that much more worth it and WAYYYY more fun. I will always be here to cheee y’all on 🥹.And last but certainly not least, to my dear @carly.yoshida : The Miss Hawaiʻi Organization’s Alyssa Liu moment 🥹 You came back and you did it your way for YOU and your love of Hawaiʻi ❤️. It was an honor to compete with you and more of an honor to witness your joy. THAT’S OUR @missamericahi 2026!!! May this year be filled with everything you always wanted to accomplished as Miss Hawaiʻi 🫶 by @deli_lloyd

I made this ceramic magnet at @minamiceramics @greenhouse.hi workshop because over one year ago I made a lil magnet with my friends to manifest competing in Miss Hawaiʻi 2026. (My clay skills that night were questionable LOL). I had thought about competing in 2025 but decided I wanted more time to intentionally prepare and show up more fully. I didn’t know what to expect back then, but I knew it would motivate me in the ways I needed.Here we are now and I am almost to the Miss Hawaiʻi 2026 finals. So much in me has changed. The glow up between my magnets is pretty representative of my growth from this process 🤣. And something special about both magnets is that they were made in the presence of friends. Another significant representation of my journey.It’s been a beautiful time of growth and I truly cannot wait for June 19th 💛. by @deli_lloyd
