The @delifresh_ltd young chef of the year 2026!

Chocolate hazelnut-filled potato gnocchi, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with chocolate sauce, pistachio ice cream and activated charcoal sugar… a little spooky-season indulgence! 🕸 🕸 🕸

The ice cream may have swirled into the sugar and sauce, but here in the Delifresh development kitchen, we think it adds to the spooky, swampy effect....delicious and looks great too!

In fact, some believe this is the best stage of icecream and we tend to agree!!

And the winner is… Sophie!!! 🏆

I was honoured to be one of the judges for the final, alongside some excellent chefs. Sophie’s soufflé was a real standout, especially as it’s Pierre Koffmann’s signature dish, and he was on the judging panel too!

The standard of cooking from everyone who took part was fantastic. What a brilliant day celebrating young talent and the future of our industry.

And we’re already backing our very own Ebony for next year… obviously she’s going to win! 😉 Huge congratulations, Sophie!!
