Had to cop these very, VERY special decks from @static_fbs — I appreciate the imagery and story-telling with these graphics. Talk about turning a simple hobby into doing all things unto the glory of GOD! On top of that, the shape and mold are immaculate. Great craftsmanship. Go get yourself one.

Man… @spicyboardco.fb came in HOT🔥(no pun intended) with these graphics. Love every single one of them. He hooked it up with extra goodies since I was his 1,000th follower. GO FOLLOW! And buy a deck while you’re at it ;)

Ever since I returned to fingerboarding a few months ago, there have been a handful of times where I wondered why I ever stopped.

My brother @technologydecks and I started playing with Tech Decks when we were kids. Man, when the first wooden Tech Decks came out, we just had to have those. We would go to Target with our mom and just beg her to buy them for us until she finally gave in.

We were getting better at the hobby and became somewhat familiar with the professional scene. All I ever wanted was to own a @yellowood deck, but they were always out of stock. So, I would save every dollar I could as an 11-12 year old and buy decks from smaller companies. Anyone remember Dooby Decks?

Anyway, those were the golden years for me. When I saw my brother return to the fingerboarding scene within the last couple of years, I didn’t think much of it. I wrote it off as some nostalgia trip. Then I started I to see he was dang good at the hobby, just like when we were kids. Furthermore, he started collecting the fingerboards that I would’ve sold a limb for as a kid. My brother seemed to be fulfilling a tiny childhood dream.

I eventually hopped on the bandwagon and made my return to fingerboarding earlier this year, after about 15 years. This hobby is so freaking fun, and it’s so cool to see that it’s a community that only keeps growing. It’s cool to see that a lot of the people in it are just normal, day job-working people —many with families — who decompress by doing tricks on a tiny skateboard, just like me.

Super sick that I get to be a part of it in some way. God bless if you’ve read this far.
