One of the things nobody tells you when you start an event planning business is that sometimes the best part isn’t the events.⁣
⁣
It’s the people.⁣
⁣
This week, I had lunch with clients whose wedding is next month, and I left even more excited to celebrate with them. At one point Tiffany laughed and asked, “Are we real friends now?”⁣
⁣
The day before, I was doing a venue walkthrough when a bride introduced me to her fiancé by saying, “Eric, meet the love of my life, Ashley.” (Sorry, Eric. 😂)⁣
⁣
Those moments are funny, but they’re also a reminder of what makes this work so meaningful.⁣
⁣
Yes, we create timelines, manage logistics, and coordinate all the moving pieces.⁣
⁣
But the real privilege is the trust our clients place in us during some of the biggest moments of their lives.⁣
⁣
This year, we’ve been honored to be named Missouri’s Best Wedding Planner again, but the truth is, the greatest part of this job has never been the awards.⁣

It’s the people.⁣
⁣
The couples who invite us into their stories.⁣
⁣
The families who trust us with their celebrations.⁣
⁣
The relationships that continue long after the event is over.⁣

✨ MISSOURI’S BEST WEDDING PLANNER!!! ⁣✨
…and yes, I’m screaming just a little & planning a face dive into some cake. 😭🫢
⁣
Delight was officially voted Missouri’s Best (!!!) and while I don’t do this work for the awards, I won’t lie… this one hits deep.⁣
⁣
Because behind this title is a team who shows up early, stays late, solves the problems before you even know they exist, and pours their entire heart into making sure your wedding is more than beautiful, it’s seamless, stress free, fun, and so you.⁣
⁣
And behind that team is MY team, my family. The ones who’ve sacrificed weekends with mom, late nights, and “normal” schedules so that I could chase this dream. Scott, Auggie, Brett, & Siena- this win is yours too. Thank you for holding space for the vision when it demanded more than most people ever see and for helping our clients in SO many ways. ⁣

We love a wedding where people linger at the dinner table, make a new friend at the bar, and stay for “just one more song” three songs in a row.⁣

Lauren & David closed out summer with a wedding on a houseboat on beautiful Table Rock Lake, followed by a reception back at their resort. Small, personal, and so very them.⁣
⁣
As concierge clients, their wedding day was one part of three days our team helped plan and care for. We loved thinking through the details that brought the whole weekend together, giving them room to settle in, enjoy their people, and soak it all up.⁣
